Located in the Lincoln National Forest is the Slide Group Campground which can accommodate up to 90 people. Surrounded by mixed evergreen and aspen, this site is known for immersing visitors in a primitive wildlife environment where they can pause and appreciate nature. Access to the National Recreation Rim Trail can be found at the site, and there are plenty of amenities to ensure that groups can enjoy social events and plan group activities with ease. Besides hiking and picnicking, most campers stop by the village of Cloudcroft for supplies, shopping and fine, local dining. Don't miss out on that!

Located in the Lincoln National Forest New Mexico is the Black Bear Group Campground, a popular site for annual groups of up to 70 people. With plenty of open, grassy spots for sports, and lots of wildlife in the surrounding forest, this campground is a popular one for group activities like star-gazing on the park's many clear nights. Located near Alamogordo and Cloudcroft, it's also well-known for groups wanting to explore those two urban centers and the great culture and dining to be experienced there. It's also a quarter mile from the Rim Trail, which is popular for mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. Other nearby trails are open to ATV enthusiasts.

Surround yourself with the mixed evergreen/aspen forest of the Aspen Group Campground, located in the Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico. Able to accommodate groups of up to 70 people, this is a popular spot for visitors wanting to experience this lush New Mexico park, as well as the charming village of Cloudcroft. Look forward to some great picnicking and hiking opportunities along the trails at Alamo Peak and Stark Peak. The most popular hike is the Osha Trail, which is a 2.5-mile loop. You can also expect excellent shopping and dining options down in the village. The Oliver Lee Memorial State Park, at the foot of the mountains, is worth a visit to see a restored 19th century ranch house and explore the flowering oasis of Dog Canyon.

Less than a mile from Cloudcroft is the Lower Fir Group Campground in the Lincoln National Forest reserve. As you'd expect, there's plenty to do in this area: take your family on hiking and biking expeditions through the dense, gorgeous forestry of the campground, and go on plenty of picnics while you're there. You can also walk to Cloudcroft for some shopping, entertainment and interaction with the friendly locals.

Enjoy the widely dispersed camp sites of the Silver Overflow Campground in the Lincoln National Forest. Popular for its showers and musician presentations at the silver Amphitheater, the campground is idyllic and bustling with activity and fun, especially during the summer months. Learn about the outdoors through the amphitheater's visitor programs, and go roaming around the various trails and paths. With gorgeous scenes and curious wildlife, you and your group will stay engaged and entertained throughout your trip.

Adjacent to the Malpais Lava Flow is the Valley of Fires recreation Area. Travelers love this park because from a distance, the hardened lava flows appear barren, but a hike around the formation will reveal a variety of flowers, cacti, bushes and trees common in the Chihuahuan desert. The area is also known to be buzzing with wildlife. Look forward to barberry sheep, bats, mule deer, road runner, great horned owls and a plethora of other bird species uncommon in other parts of the state. Enjoy the fully accessibly Malpais Nature Trail, horseback riding and picnicking.

The Turner RV Park is located in Mountainair, and is conveniently located near a number of excellent attractions. Look forward to a one hour drive from Albuquerque, where you can find a number of great activities, shops and restaurants. Most people visit for the International Balloon Festival, as well as sight seeing the beautiful terrain of the city. The park is also close to the fourth of July mountains and the Salinas Pueblos Missions National Monument. The Salinas Pueblo Monuments are some close sights to go see in New Mexico. There are 3 different ruins to see, one is 8 miles away, another 11 miles away, and the third is 25 miles away. There is an awesome array of sites to choose from for all kinds of rigs and camping styles that include full 30/50 amp hookups along with family suites and kitchenettes available that come equip with a coffeemaker, DirecTV, refrigerator, and microwave. There are a various amount of amenities that would elate anyone who stays here which include BBQ and patio areas, laundry facilities, restroom and shower facilities, trash services and a dump station. The Long Point Campground is a primitive campsite right next to the Elephant Butte Lake State Park, and is one of the park's most picturesque sites. Settle right on the lake's banks for quiet, simple camping, and be sure to take advantage of the lake and all there is to do like swimming, water skiing, fishing and canoeing. The area is also prime for exploring so go out for a long hike or bike ride, and return in time to watch a spectacular sunset over the lake surface. On that note, be sure to do some stargazing while you're at this park; with clear, open skies, the light show is spectacular!

Sunny Acres RV Park is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico and is popular for its close proximity to a number of local attractions such as: Historic Old Mesilla, the New Mexic Farm and Ranch Museum, Fort Selden State Monument, several wineries and the Las Cruces Farmers market. Visitors often use this park as a home base to visit cities such as Ruidoso, Hillsboro or to see the Carlsbad Caverns National Park.
