Just north of Portales New Mexico is the regional beauty of the Oasis State Park. It is set among cottonwood trees, shifting sand dunes and a small fishing lake. The East Side Campground is located at Sumner Lake, New Mexico and is a great place for a quiet yet adventurous southwestern vacation. Enjoy excellent fishing at the lake for trout, bass, crappie and walleye, and plenty of water surface for water sports such as swimming, boating, canoeing and paddle boarding. Of course, with so much open area to explore, many campers go on long hikes or bike rides along the trails or make their own paths. Also be sure to keep your eyes open around dawn or dusk for one of those iconic New Mexico sunrises or sunsets. You won't be disappointed. 

The White's City RV Park is located in Whites City, New Mexico and is popular for its proximity to a number of great, local attractions.
