Located off Old Highway 60 in Bernardo, New Mexico, Kiva RV Park & Horse Motel is a local favorite. Casey's RV Park is located in Socorro, New Mexico and is near Lake Escondida. The park is also near the Bosque Del Apache Wildlife Sanctuary which is filled with majestic and exotic birds that will absolutely amaze you. The Salmon Run Campground is located at the Heron Lake State Park and is a great place to connect with nature. The lake is designated as a "quiet lake," so no wake-speeds are permitted among boat operators. This means visitors can enjoy peaceful paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking excursions, as well as fishign for trout and salmon. In the winter months, ice fishing and cross crountry skiing are popular, so plan for that! On land, campers can enjoy hiking the great trails, biking, pinicking and wildlife viewing. Keep an eye out for black bears, elk, mule deer, bald eagles and osprey. 

Santa Fe National Forest is located near the beautiful New Mexico city of Santa Fe, and is a great camping spot for the history-buff and the desert lover. Visitors can look forward to great museums, world-class art and a breathtaking natural terrain surrounding the campground.    Amenities and Activities RVers can take advantage of a ton of great activities near the campground. The Blue Spruce RV Park is located in Ruidoso, New Mexico but is in the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Take a day trip to the Bandera Volcano, and several other attractions like the mining museum and excellent local eateries are much closer. You can also go rock hounding for quartz and other precious stones! This is a great park to fall in love with the slower, more easy-going side of New Mexico.

The Ponderosa Campground is located just 6 miles from the Bandelier National Monument and the town of Los Alamos. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Canyon, where you will find acres of rugged mesa country with petroglyphs, carving in the soft stone walls and the standing masonry walls that play tribute to the areas rich cultural past and present. Look out for wildlife such as black bears, mule deer, mountain lions and squirrels as well as birds like canyon towhees and Stellar's jays. One hiking trail extends from the campsite, however, there are other trails just outside the site and excellent rock climbing opportunities at the Bandelier Monument. Campers also venture into town to pick up supplies at the various stores, go ice skating or even visit one of the museums. 

The Ojo Redondo Campground is just southwest of Mt. Sedwick, the hightes point in the Zuni Mountains. With such loush forestry and a gorgeous natural landscape, visitors have plenty to see and experience at this park. Look forward to plenty of hiking, biking and picnicking opportunities, as well as rock climbing up the mountain face. Campers often do a lot of wildlife watching and horseback riding during their time at this park, so don't be afraid to get adventurous!

Located 25 miles from Grants, New Mexico is the Bluewater Lake State Park. Set in a thriving pinion-juniper landscape with breath taking views toward the Zuni Mountains. Enjoy outdoor activities such as birding, horseback riding and hiking the trails, as well as tiger muskie fishing - the best in the region.

There's tons of excellent outdoor activities to enjoy, so get ready for great fishing, birding, wildlife viewing, wildflower viewing or mountain biking. Visitors especially love to hike the various trails, so get ready to explore the gorgeous forestry that climbs up the bluffs and runs through the canyon. There's also equestrian trails as well as a number of picnic tables, so whether you want to go galloping through the wilderness or hang out with friends over great food, there's plenty of space and picnic tables to make that happen!

Located between EL Malpais and El Morro Narional Parks is El Morro RV Park and Cabins.  Campers can look forward to a thriving ecosystem filled with birds, amphibians and reptilians that call the monument home. Keep your camera and binoculars handy to catch sight of pinion pines, juniper, ponderosa and Gabel oak, and be sure to bring your sneakers to conquer some of the excellent hiking and biking trails around the campsites. If you love nature and are looking for a peaceful, adventurous getaway, you'll love this park.

Enjoy time spent with family and friends, surrounded by lush ponderosa, juniper and pinion and plenty of shade. Enjoy hiking the interpretive trails and biking among the hills, but be careful not to intrude on sacred Indian territory that will be marked off.
