Look forward to amazing sights and fresh air, but be prepared for chilly night. Jemez Falls is the largest waterfall among the Jemez mountains and it is close to the camp site. The Valles Caldera National Preserve, the hot springs at Jemez Springs and Bandelier National Forest are nearby attractions. La Cueva is the nearest town, and there you can find convenience stores for supplies and various local eateries and restaurants. You can also enjoy river and stream fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and picnicking at this park. Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis, and there are only a few amenities such as: picnic tables, Rv hookups, water and fire rings. The Raton Pass Camp and Cafe is a campground located north of Raton just off I-25 at the top of Raton Pass, New Mexico. Soak in the panoramic views of the Savage Canyon, home to gambel oak, pinion and ponderosa pine, and while you're sitting outside keep your eyes open for the wildlife that calls Raton Pass home. There are bears, mule deer, elk, wild turkeys and scores of beautiful hummingbirds. Our sites are packed level gravel with scenic large back-ins, pull thrus, extra long pull thrus, and budget friendly small back-ins that support 30/50 amp sites. Given our convenient location, we are only a few hours drive to iconic New Mexico spots like Taos, Santa Fe, Angel Fire, Eagles Nest and Red River. The Last Resort is a cozy RV park located on the Blanco River just off Highway 84, between Chama, New Mexico and Pagosa Springs, CO.  We have 23 full hook-up sites with 30 and 50amp electric with water and sewer.  We have 8 sites along the river with water and electricity only.  Basic tent sites are set up in various locations around the park, several being located near water.  Our bathhouse has a couch and games, a kitchen sink, microwave and coffee pot; Men's and Women's separate restrooms, $5 for an 8 minute shower, and coin operated washer and dryer.    For outdoor recreation, there are walking trails throughout the park, dog park, fishing in the pond or river, tubing the river, and playing at the beach!   The outdoor recreation area includes a volleyball net, horseshoes, cornhole, and other outdoor games.   A newly renovated pavilion next to the pond, serves as a gathering place for happy hours and group gatherings!  Open year round.  Pets welcome! We have a community fire pit of which we can roast hot dogs, marshmallows for s’mores and tell all the stories you would like. “What goes on at the Fire Pit stays at the Fire Pit.” Full hook-ups avail. only during the summer (electric & wifi avail. during winter).
