Find RV Parks and Campgrounds near Nogal, New Mexico

The Artesia RV Park is located near the Carlsbad Caverns and Cloudcroft, and is popular for being one of the area's cleanest and safest RV sites. Management is friendly and very helpful, and with so many campers passing by to other cities or on their way to the nearby oil fields, there's often plenty of space for regular vacationers and RVers. The Quail Run Campground is located in Elephant Butte, New Mexico and is a great spot for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the state's big cities. Nearby are great local restaurants like Amici's Pizza, Casa Taco, and eateries among the shops at Wiregrass. The campground is relatively close to the Rio Grande river, so take a day trip out there to visit the marina and go sailing. The area is also perfect for hiking, biking and great sight seeing. Look up on any night to enjoy stargazing or a spectacular New Mexico sunrise. 

Facing the Sacramento mountains to the east, the Elks Lodge 1897 is for members and visiting Elks only, and is a quiet place to get away for a few days. With full hookups, 30/50 amp sites, laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, WIFI and a restaurant on-site, this is a Alamogordo favorite. Visitors can enjoy golfing at a nearby golf course, the space hall of fame, the oldest zoo located in Alamogordo, the White Sand National Monument nearby, skiing, gambling, fishing and zip-lining. Elks Lodge 1897 has something for everyone and well-established to meet all guests' needs.

The Holloman AFB FamCamp is used for military professionals and is located within the New Mexico Air Base. The park is safe and well-known for its easy access to sights like the White Sands National Monument, Space History Museum, CLoudcroft, Pistacio Farms, Ruidoso, White Sands Missile Range and the Organ Mountains. If you like history, you'll have a blast at this campground. 

Set against the breathtaking Sacramento Mountains, the Oliver Lee Memorial park features a historic ranch house, quiet camping in the Chihuahuan Desert, and the unique oasis of pools of water under the cottonwood trees of Dog Canyon. Visitors can look forward to a short walk on the Riparian Nature Trail or a challenging hike up the Dog Canyon Trail, as well as acres and acres of beautiful desert vistas. Picnicking and wildlife viewing are also popular activities at this site. Open all year round, park facilities include: water, group camping, electricity, restrooms, showers and dump stations. The Volunteer Park Travel Campsite is military personnel only, and as you would expect, it is clean, well-managed and operated by friendly, helpful staff. With a beautiful view and relatively close proximity to Las Cruces and the White Sands National Monument, you have a lot of space and flexibility to move around and explore. Adventure through the cities of New Mexico or the gorgeous natural terrain, and return to a comfortable park filled with convenient amenities. 

Elephant Butte Lake State Park is a campground located on - in elephant-butte, NM. The site includes electricity.

Located in the Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico are the Bluff Springs Dispersed Campsites. It is a partially developed picnic area with dispersed campsites with spectacular mountain views, and beautiful forestry all around. Take one of the trails around clumps of wildflowers, and be sure to catch at least one sunset or sunrise; have a camera handy! There's also a few small waterfalls within the park so keep your eyes open for that! Most visitors to this site go off to the Cloudcroft village to take advantage of the local sights and do some gift or food shopping. Maybe you'll be in time for one of the three annual festivals that take place in Zenith Park in the village.

Take advantage of the spacious and well laid-out Desert Paradise Mobile Home & RV Village near the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. There are plenty of hiking trails near Orogrande or near High Rolls, and others at Cloudcroft. It's near several great attractions such as Cloudcroft, the Apache Reservation Casino and the White Sands Missile Range. Alamogordo is filled with history and beauty, and is popular for its outdoor sporting activities like biking and disc-surfing down the sand dunes of the White Sand Monument.

The New Canyon Campground is located in Mountainair New Mexico in the Cibola National Forest. Look forward to acres and acres of juniper, ponderosa pine and gambel oaks as well as the fresh, crisp air that comes with such a thick and lush forest. Hit the short but scenic Coal Mine Natural Trail, or carve your own path through the trees whether hiking or mountain biking. Also look forward to picnicking, cave exploration and star gazing. This is an excellent place to immerse yourself in nature and have a peaceful, relaxing vacation.

Located just 14 miles southeast of Roswell, New Mexico is the Bottomless Lake campground. Enjoy an almost insane number of outdoor activities, so get your water-proof sunscreen out and packed. You can look forward to tons of fishing spots, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, cruising and even scuba diving. With an abundance of aquatic plants in the lake, the water looks greenish-blue and it's beautiful! Visitors also enjoy hiking the various trails, biking, unique sinkholes to explore.  

Located on - in caballo, NM lies the Caballo Lake State Park. This campground includes laundry facilities.

The Paseo Del Rio Campground is located in the Elephant Butte Lake State Park, and is perfect for a long escape into the natural terrain of the southwest. far from the crowds with plenty of open space, this park offers visitors the chance to spread out and roam on foot, ATV of bike. Go to the lake to enjoy excellent fishing, boating, water skiing or just an easy-going afternoon on a paddle board. There's also plenty of clear, open skies for stargazing and of course, don't be shy about soaking in those iconic New Mexico sunrises and sunsets. 

The South Highlands Campground is located in the Elephante Butte Lake State Park and is in a secluded area perfect for an escape into the serene southwestern landscape. Explore the gorgeous desert vistas that are mixed in with hills and lakes, for a great outdoor adventure. Make your way down to the lake for water skiing, paddle boarding, fishing and of course swimming, and strap on your hiking boots to hit the trails on foot or bike. The area also his clear, expansive skies ideal for stargazing and for campers to enjoy the excellent sunrises and sunsets New Mexico is known for. 

The Lake Van Recreation is located in Dexter, New Mexico on Lake Van. This is an especially popular site, not just for excellent fishing and boating opportunities on the lake, but also for its proximity to several excellent attractions. Visitors can take advantage of day trips to the Carlsbad Caverns and Roswell. These two sites in particular are fun and exciting spots where campers can learn some interesting facts about New Mexico's geological landscape and history with the "unknown." The area is also great for immersing yourself in pristine terrain, so don't forget to carve out time to hike or bike through the various trails.

The Club Cove Campground is located at the Elephant Butte Lake State Park in New Mexico. Campers can look forward to acres and acres of gorgeous southwestern terrain, and a lake ready for all the water sports you could imagine. Get ready for swimming, fishing, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing, and be sure to hang around at dusk to catch one of those iconic New Mexico sunsets. Hiking and biking are also popular activities at this campground, so be sure to pack well for the fun! A relatively short drive from the park will take you to restaurants, museums and other great attractions.
