Heron Lake is located in the Heron Late State Park in Los Ojos, new Mexico. Look forward to immaculate pines and fresh air around one of the areas most popular fishing lakes. Locals and visitors alike take advantage of stellar kokanee slamon and record-size trout, as well as a boating dock of early morning excursions. This lake is popular as well because it's designated as a "quiet lake," and boat operators cannot get up to wake speeds. This makes it perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing.
