There are 19 primitive campsites at Windsurf Beach and Arboles Point, and are the perfect spots for a fun tenting trip out ini the gorgeous waterfront  areas. The sites are ideal for small RVs and tents, and are open year round but cannot be reserved so the off-season is the best time to head over there! The sites are right by the water, and with wide open spaces and plenty of gorgeous trees and clear skies, it's a photographer's paradise. Get ready for some stellar scenic viewing, hiking, biking, sunset viewing, fishing and stargazing. The sites are in a relatively remote location, so be sure to pack everything you'll need for a fun and distraction-free stay, but there is a post office, marine store and country store just a short drive from the park. The Joe Skeen BLM is located in Grants, New Mexico and was established in 1987 protect nationally significant ecological, cultural, geological, scenic, scientific and wilderness resources located around the Grants Lava Flows. Visitors to the area can look forward to beautifully preserved sandstone cliffs, canyons and the La Ventana Natural Arch. These natural formations connect the New Mexico terrain to the culture and history of the area's Native American past and present, giving them significance beyond it's asthetic appeal. The Jemez Mountains is the breathtaking backdrop for the Fenton Lake State Park in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. Surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines, the park is ideal of wildlife viewing and hiking, and with the Rio Cebolla running through it, it's also excellent for fishing and canoeing. The river is well-stocked with rainbow trout and German brown trout; ice fishing is also popular there. You can also fish for rainbow trout and brook at the 14 acres that makeup Hopewell Lake.
