The Black Canyon Campground is located in Santa Fe, and is right next door to the Hyde Memorial State Park. Visit this campground for an escape into the iconic beauty and fresh air of New mexico where campers can find plenty of scenic heights along the parks hiking trails. Visitors can also look forward to several hilly spots for mountain biking. There's also plenty of bare banks for picnicking and of course, star gazing. The Raccoon Campground is located at Sumner Lake, New Mexico and is a great spot for your next excursion. The reservoir is popular for its abundance of crappie, walleye, bass and catfish and is also a great place for swimming or just idling by the water's edge. The lake is also surrounded by scenic patched of forestry, perfect for hiking, biking and exploring and is especially excellent if you love wildlife like curious deer and beautifully-colored birds. The Coal Mine Campground is located on gently sloping hills in Grants, New Mexico, and is known for being set against amazing pinion, juuniper, gambel oak and mature ponderosa pine trees. The road gives visitors access to a quarter mile nature trail accessible by a historic bridge biult by the job corps. Campers often take advantage of the diverse landscape to go biking, horseback riding and wildlife watching, not to mention picnicking. The Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Park is a favorite among locals and visitors alike for many reasons. Of course number one is the presence of hot, mineral springs but the area is also a gorgeous array of large rock formations, deserts vistas and peaks. Go hiking and exploring on your own, or explore one of the intricate trails. The resort also has plenty of activites such as yoga classes, workshops and retreats.
