The Jemez Mountains is the breathtaking backdrop for the Fenton Lake State Park in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. Surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines, the park is ideal of wildlife viewing and hiking, and with the Rio Cebolla running through it, it's also excellent for fishing and canoeing. The river is well-stocked with rainbow trout and German brown trout; ice fishing is also popular there. The park also has a fun playground for kids making it well-sought after among the little ones, and is also known to attract cross-country skiiers during the winter months. Datil Well Campground is located at one of the 15 wells that are along the old Magdalena Livestock Driveway. The area includes 3 miles of hiking trails in piñon-juniper and ponderosa pine woodlands, with scenic views of the San Augustin Plains. The trail and vistas also offer an occasional glimpse of wildlife in a quiet setting. Enjoy picnicking along the small spots of leveled land, and be sure to look up at twilight to see the stars come out in full brightness.

Isleta Lakes & RV Park is located along the Rio Grande and is surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of New Mexico’s outdoors. Near Albuquerque, it features 50 full hookup campsites.
