The Paseo Del Rio Campground is located in the Elephant Butte Lake State Park, and is perfect for a long escape into the natural terrain of the southwest. far from the crowds with plenty of open space, this park offers visitors the chance to spread out and roam on foot, ATV of bike. Go to the lake to enjoy excellent fishing, boating, water skiing or just an easy-going afternoon on a paddle board. The Grapevine Campground is located at the Gila National Forest and is a great place for exploring the beauty and serenity of the mountainous regions of Silver City. The east and west Gila River's join to offer campers excellent opportunities to fish and relax by the waterside, and there's also plenty of trails and easy-to-maneuver areas for hiking. Visitors can also look forward to horseback riding and mountain biking, and the plethora of great attractions in Silver City. Bonito Lake Campground is just a mile from Bonito Lake. Even though there's no fishing at the lake, there is plenty to do such as: camping, hiking and so much sight seeing along the gorgeous green mountain ranges.

Adjacent to the Malpais Lava Flow is the Valley of Fires recreation Area. Travelers love this park because from a distance, the hardened lava flows appear barren, but a hike around the formation will reveal a variety of flowers, cacti, bushes and trees common in the Chihuahuan desert. The area is also known to be buzzing with wildlife. Look forward to barberry sheep, bats, mule deer, road runner, great horned owls and a plethora of other bird species uncommon in other parts of the state. Enjoy the fully accessibly Malpais Nature Trail, horseback riding and picnicking.

The Quail Run Campground is located in Elephant Butte, New Mexico and is a great spot for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the state's big cities. Nearby are great local restaurants like Amici's Pizza, Casa Taco, and eateries among the shops at Wiregrass. The Club Cove Campground is located at the Elephant Butte Lake State Park in New Mexico. Campers can look forward to acres and acres of gorgeous southwestern terrain, and a lake ready for all the water sports you could imagine. Get ready for swimming, fishing, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing, and be sure to hang around at dusk to catch one of those iconic New Mexico sunsets. Hiking and biking are also popular activities at this campground, so be sure to pack well for the fun! A relatively short drive from the park will take you to restaurants, museums and other great attractions. 

With 30 sites, and close to the vistas of Sierra Blanca, Oak Grove Campground is one not to miss with its lush forestry and surrounding miles of sky-scraping mountain ranges. The Kirtland AFB campsite is located in Kirtland, New Mexico and is used for military camping only. The camp offers great conveniences to its visitors; campers can enjoy a gym on site, nearby bowling alley, excellent local dining, the National Museum of Nuclear Science, Old Town Sandia Crest, the Balloon Fiest and Santa Fe is nearby. Enjoy shopping at the nearby cities, and the beautiful, desert plains around the town.
