Find RV Parks and Campgrounds near Gallina, New Mexico

There are 19 primitive campsites at Windsurf Beach and Arboles Point, and are the perfect spots for a fun tenting trip out ini the gorgeous waterfront  areas. The sites are ideal for small RVs and tents, and are open year round but cannot be reserved so the off-season is the best time to head over there! The sites are right by the water, and with wide open spaces and plenty of gorgeous trees and clear skies, it's a photographer's paradise. Get ready for some stellar scenic viewing, hiking, biking, sunset viewing, fishing and stargazing. The sites are in a relatively remote location, so be sure to pack everything you'll need for a fun and distraction-free stay, but there is a post office, marine store and country store just a short drive from the park. The South Area Campground is located at the Storrie Lake State Park and is a popular site for outdoor activities and some serene lakeside relaxation. Enjoy wildlife viewing while you hike the various trails around the park, so be sure to back not only your binoculars, but your hiking shoes! The area is also well-known for excellent fishing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, water skiing, caoneing and boating. The area can get hot, but look forward to crisp, fresh breezes off the lake, which keeps the temperature ideal for outdoor activities. Also be sure to be outside at dusk to catch one of New Mexico's iconic sunsets. Amenities at the park include: developed campsites, water, electrical hookups, boat docks, restrooms, showers and group shelter. The Gallinas River Campground is located in the beautiful town of Las Vegas, New Mexico and is a great spot for an authentic outdoor escape. Campers can look forward to a number of outdoor activities such as wind surfing, boating, hiking, fishing and bird watching, and there's plenty of open space for hiking, ATV touring and clear skies for sunset viewing and stargazing. Just beyond the campground, travelers can expect excellent attractions such as the Las Vegas Museum, K-Bob's Steakhouse, the Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge and plenty of shopping and dining opportunities to take advantage of. Amenities at the park include: water, dump stations, showers and restrooms. The Arroyo Hondo Recreation is located in the beautiful city of Taos, New Mexico and is a great spot for your next southwestern vacation. Visitors can look forward to the Bolack Museum and the Aztec Ruins where they can take advantage of a guided tour. Campers can also visit the Three Rivers Tap and Game Room. There are shops, restaurants and stores nearby to the convenience of travelers; stop by local eateries on your way to the nearby Animas and San Juan Rivers. Picnic on the river banks, or go exploring through the town during your visit.

The Coyote Creek State Park is located an hour east of Taos, and is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Just beside a meandering stream, campers can enjoy hours of fly fishing, as well as the sights and sounds of a flourishing waterside oasis that's enclosed by spruce and pine.
