The Elk Run Cabins and RV Park is located in the beautiful mountains of Alto, New Mexico, and are just a few minutes from Ruidoso, Ski Apache, Spencer Theater and Bonito Lake. Welcome to Coyote Flats RV Park! Nestled in Carlsbad, we are the newest, well kept park in the area that welcomes extended stays. We offer 260 full hook up sites with private cement patios, strong WiFi, a state of the art laundry facility, shower facility, gravel roads, a playground, a dog park, a sand volleyball pit, covered picnic area, outdoor grills, and fireplaces, and more. Our campground is quiet and settled within a residential area. We also offer storage for your vehicles and RV's. You'll find many attractions nearby such as Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Living Desert State Park and Zoo, and the Carlsbad Waterpark! All facilities are electronic and can be paid for through credit/debit card. Cash payments will not be accepted once you have arrived at the park. Please note that additional fees may apply for pets, vehicles, etc.    We have a $100 deposit is required at check-in. Refundable at check out if site is left clean and no damage has been done.

Our family-owned park is newly purchased in 2018, and is prided on providing exceptional service and a memorable experience to our visitors. Since purchasing the park, it has been consistently updated, adding several new amenities, ensuring it is the most comfortable stay possible. Some of the new amenities include, an office building, full-laundry facility, full- bathroom with shower, metal privacy fence, BBQ grill, picnic table, dog run, and many trees and roses were planted to brighten up the park.  Each site offers free basic Wi-Fi, water, sewer, and LED lights on the RV pedestal making it easier for utility connections. There are plenty of pull through sites with 40-50 foot shade trees, which is nice for getting out of the New Mexico heat. Hatch is a small, quaint, and relaxing place to pass through any time of year. It is known as the "Chile Capital of the World," for growing both red and green chile. Thousands of people visit from around the country to buy and stock up on their chile for the year. During harvest time, you can smell the chile as it is being roasted, stroll through various chile stands, and see the locals making beautiful ristras. It truly is an experience to be had! This park is centrally located and within walking distance to several unique locally family owned and operated restaurants. The most notable is the famous Sparky’s Burgers and BBQ, but Valley Café Restaurant is a personal favorite! You will also find authentic chile stands, food/fruit stands, as well as, local and imported hand-made Mexican folk art, including pottery and iron figurines. It is a short drive to either, Caballo or Elephant Butte Lake, should you want to spend some time on the water! Or if you want to take the short drive into the “Big City” of Las Cruces, and do some dining and shopping you can do that too! The El Paso Roadrunner RV Park is located in the beautiful, bustling city of El Paso and is a great place for a fun southern getaway. The Long Point Campground is a primitive campsite right next to the Elephant Butte Lake State Park, and is one of the park's most picturesque sites. Settle right on the lake's banks for quiet, simple camping, and be sure to take advantage of the lake and all there is to do like swimming, water skiing, fishing and canoeing. The area is also prime for exploring so go out for a long hike or bike ride, and return in time to watch a spectacular sunset over the lake surface. On that note, be sure to do some stargazing while you're at this park; with clear, open skies, the light show is spectacular!
