Located in the Lincoln National Forest New Mexico is the Black Bear Group Campground, a popular site for annual groups of up to 70 people. With plenty of open, grassy spots for sports, and lots of wildlife in the surrounding forest, this campground is a popular one for group activities like star-gazing on the park's many clear nights. Located near Alamogordo and Cloudcroft, it's also well-known for groups wanting to explore those two urban centers and the great culture and dining to be experienced there. It's also a quarter mile from the Rim Trail, which is popular for mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. Other nearby trails are open to ATV enthusiasts.

Located in the Lincoln National Forest is the Slide Group Campground which can accommodate up to 90 people. Surrounded by mixed evergreen and aspen, this site is known for immersing visitors in a primitive wildlife environment where they can pause and appreciate nature. Access to the National Recreation Rim Trail can be found at the site, and there are plenty of amenities to ensure that groups can enjoy social events and plan group activities with ease. The Grapevine Campground is located at the Gila National Forest and is a great place for exploring the beauty and serenity of the mountainous regions of Silver City. The east and west Gila River's join to offer campers excellent opportunities to fish and relax by the waterside, and there's also plenty of trails and easy-to-maneuver areas for hiking. Visitors can also look forward to horseback riding and mountain biking, and the plethora of great attractions in Silver City. Expect to be blown away by sites such as the Spirit of the Mountain Scenic Byway, the Gila Cliff Dwellings and the museums and art galleries that dot the old historic district. 

Lower Karr Canyon Campground is an undeveloped campground scattered across the Karr Canyon Picnic Area. Explore the Lincoln National Park with its densely forested areas, beautiful hiking trails and clear skies. Standing over 7,500 feet above the desert floor, campers can enjoy warm weather that's not too harsh, and plenty of fresh air. Also take advantage of the horseback riding, biking and wildlife watching at this site for a true taste of untouched New Mexico terrain.

Take advantage of the spacious and well laid-out Desert Paradise Mobile Home & RV Village near the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. There are plenty of hiking trails near Orogrande or near High Rolls, and others at Cloudcroft. It's near several great attractions such as Cloudcroft, the Apache Reservation Casino and the White Sands Missile Range. Alamogordo is filled with history and beauty, and is popular for its outdoor sporting activities like biking and disc-surfing down the sand dunes of the White Sand Monument.

Facing the Sacramento mountains to the east, the Elks Lodge 1897 is for members and visiting Elks only, and is a quiet place to get away for a few days. With full hookups, 30/50 amp sites, laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, WIFI and a restaurant on-site, this is a Alamogordo favorite. Visitors can enjoy golfing at a nearby golf course, the space hall of fame, the oldest zoo located in Alamogordo, the White Sand National Monument nearby, skiing, gambling, fishing and zip-lining. Elks Lodge 1897 has something for everyone and well-established to meet all guests' needs.

The Holloman AFB FamCamp is used for military professionals and is located within the New Mexico Air Base. The park is safe and well-known for its easy access to sights like the White Sands National Monument, Space History Museum, CLoudcroft, Pistacio Farms, Ruidoso, White Sands Missile Range and the Organ Mountains. If you like history, you'll have a blast at this campground. 

Located in the Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico are the Bluff Springs Dispersed Campsites. It is a partially developed picnic area with dispersed campsites with spectacular mountain views, and beautiful forestry all around. Take one of the trails around clumps of wildflowers, and be sure to catch at least one sunset or sunrise; have a camera handy! There's also a few small waterfalls within the park so keep your eyes open for that! Most visitors to this site go off to the Cloudcroft village to take advantage of the local sights and do some gift or food shopping. Maybe you'll be in time for one of the three annual festivals that take place in Zenith Park in the village.

Get ready to explore some gorgeous desert vistas at the Silver City KOA. Go hiking, biking or just exploring around the campground, or head out to Silver City for some more conventional fun. The city is a hub for number attractions including some great spots like the Spirit of the Mountain Scenic Byway, Gila Cliff Dwellings Monument, Ancient Indian Ruins and a host of museums and art galleries. The city's historic district is also edged by great local eateries showcasing the culinary talent of residents, and even a brewery, so grab a pint and fall in love with the history and culture of the southwest!

Set against the breathtaking Sacramento Mountains, the Oliver Lee Memorial park features a historic ranch house, quiet camping in the Chihuahuan Desert, and the unique oasis of pools of water under the cottonwood trees of Dog Canyon. Visitors can look forward to a short walk on the Riparian Nature Trail or a challenging hike up the Dog Canyon Trail, as well as acres and acres of beautiful desert vistas. The Volunteer Park Travel Campsite is military personnel only, and as you would expect, it is clean, well-managed and operated by friendly, helpful staff. With a beautiful view and relatively close proximity to Las Cruces and the White Sands National Monument, you have a lot of space and flexibility to move around and explore. Adventure through the cities of New Mexico or the gorgeous natural terrain, and return to a comfortable park filled with convenient amenities. 

You'll just about melt in the serenity of the Lordsburg KOA located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Located halfway between El Paso and Tucson, this park is perfect as a base camp for visiting nearby ghost towns, the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, White Sands national Monument and Rockhound State Park. It's also secluded, surrounded by the scenic views of the Pyramid Mountains and big sky sunsets, so be prepared for plenty of space and fresh air.   

Datil Well Campground is located at one of the 15 wells that are along the old Magdalena Livestock Driveway. The area includes 3 miles of hiking trails in piñon-juniper and ponderosa pine woodlands, with scenic views of the San Augustin Plains. The trail and vistas also offer an occasional glimpse of wildlife in a quiet setting. Enjoy picnicking along the small spots of leveled land, and be sure to look up at twilight to see the stars come out in full brightness.

Enjoy the widely dispersed camp sites of the Silver Overflow Campground in the Lincoln National Forest. Popular for its showers and musician presentations at the silver Amphitheater, the campground is idyllic and bustling with activity and fun, especially during the summer months.
