The Indian Trees Campground is located in the rugged Bitterroot National Forest. Campers can look forward to excellent fishing for cutthroat and other types of trout at the nearby Camp Creek. There's also several excellent hiking trails, so expect challenging paths along the Nez Perce National Historic Trail and a neighboring scenic trail. While visitors explore, they can keep their eyes open for wildlife such as mule and white-tailed deer, moose and elk, as well as smaller animals and birds. Big game hunting is popular at the Indian Trees Campground. Nearby are several great attractions like the Lost Trail hot Spring and neighboring creeks and streams. 

The Gordon Reese Cabin is located near the Chief Joseph Pass on the Montana-Idaho Border, and is a popular hike-in cabin used for warmth in the winter months. That being said, get ready for a breathtaking terrain perfect for snow shoeing, sledding and skiing. The area is also well-known for a dense, untouched landscape for hiking, biking and exploring, and curious wildlife. Keep your eyes open for mule deer, moose and elk!
