During the winter months, skiing and snow mobile-driving is popular, and of course, plenty of fishing at Thunderbolt Creek.  

The Racetrack Campground is located in southwest Montana near the Racetrack Creek, and is surrounded by the gorgeous pines and firs native to Montana. Visitors can look forward to excellent trout fishing at the creek, as well as plenty of space for picnicking and enjoying group fun. There's also natural paths to explore, so be sure to do some hiking and biking and pause every now and again to catch a glimpse of the wildlife in the area. Deer, elk and moose are common.
