The Ashley Lake North Campground is located along the sky blue waters of Ashley Lake and is an absolute treasure among visitors and locals alike. Take time at the waterside to fish for various types of trout or go water skiing or boating on the water during one of the area's many warm days. For those of you hoping for more relaxing activities, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing and swimming are also common at Ashley Lake. There's also plenty of space in and around the campsite for hiking, mountain biking and just plain exploring, so make sure to keep your trip schedule loose so you can really get lost in the gorgeous lakeside forest.

The Mission Lookout Cabin towers above the forest canopy, providing guests with unrivaled 360 degree views of the beautiful Swan Lake. At an elevation of over 3,700 feet, visitors can look forward to great weather and scenic views of the Flathead National Forest. Along with the spectacular scenery, the immediate area offers visitors an unlimited array of outdoor activities ranging from fishing and swimming at the nearby Swan Lake, to watching the migratory waterfowl at the wildlife area. Hunting is also popular not far from the lookout. Shooting within 150 yards of the lookout or from the road is not allowed. A variety of hiking and mountain biking trails can be found in the area.    

The Holland Lake Campground is located near the Holland Falls National Recreation Trail. At an elevation of over 4,500 feet, visitors can enjoy the mild weather, thick foliage and plenty of shade. There's also several excellent trails that take campers up and around some of the most beautiful spots of the Holland Falls area. Don't be shy! You don't have to limit yourself to hiking; get your mountain bike out of the garage and have a blast at these trails if you can. There's also plenty of fishing to be done at Holland Lake; there's a variety of trout and salmon and a wide lake surface that's perfect for canoeing, kayaking, swimming and boating.

The Sylvia Lake Campground is a primitive site, with plenty of excellent mountain-scapes over the sea and sky. Look forward to lake activities such as trout fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing and fishing. There's also plenty of  gorgeous land for all of your hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding needs. Picnicking is also popular at this site, and a little known treat is stargazing. Stay out late and spread a blanket to enjoy the true beauty of the park. 

The Silvertip Cabin is located only a short walk from the Spotted River, and at an elevation of over 4,400 feet, is a great site for all types of outdoor activities. The cabin is only available on weekends, but during those few days, guests can enjoy great hiking and horseback riding trails, hunting and wildlife viewing. There are elk, moose, deer and a plethora of small creatures hidden within the forestry, so stay alert and curious! With plenty of fresh air and wide open space for exploring, this is a popular site so book early!

Located in the Flathead National Forest is the Lindberg Lake Campground, a gorgeous oasis of Montana wilderness and pristine waters. Campers can look forward to wildlife viewing, so keep your eyes peeling for elk, moose, deer and various species of birds. There's also plenty of open space for hiking, biking, horseback riding and exploring, as well as acres of water space on the lake to fish, swim, boat, water ski and even just enjoy a quiet evening by the water side. 

The Missoula KOA is located within the city of Missoula and surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. The friendly staff and well-managed campground make it easy to enjoy the gorgeous Montana landscape the campground is nestled within. Campers can explore the Lewis and Clark Trail, Garnett Ghost Town, Smoke Jumpers Museum and National Bison Range. This campground is also popular because it sits at a great stopping point right between the Yellowstone National Park and the Glacier National Park, so not only will you get to see the iconic yellow volcano, but also get the chance to view other geological features and sights.  

Mariner's Haven is a campground located on the extreme northwest end of Montana near the Koocanusa Reservoir. The campground is also near the Rocky Mountains, so campers can look forward to acres and acres of pristine forestry, with fir and pine trees densely packed around the reservoir and up the mountain sides. Visitors can expect a thriving ecosystems with curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as beautiful skies for stargazing. At winter time, campers can take advantage of water sports like skiing, sledding and snow shoeing, so if you like those activities, you'll absolutely love this park. 

The Country Inn is located in the beautiful town of Sagle, Idaho and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including the Schweitzer Mountain for ski and snow mobile tours, Sandpoint City Beach, Bonner County History Museum and horseback riding expeditions. There's also Small House Winery, nearby aerial tours, golf courses, bowling alleys, specialty shops and craft eateries to enjoy. The West Glacier KOA is located in a flat plain carved out of the pristine wilderness of the Glacier National Forest in Montana. The Going-To-The-Sun road is one of the area's most popular sites; this engineering wonder takes you along some of Montana's most scenic routes! Albeni Cove CG is located on Lake Pend Oreille, one of the largest and deepest lakes in the United States, reaching depths of more than 1,200 feet in some areas. It features 14 campsites that are big rig friendly for RVs of up to 40 feet. The park allows pets and has a dump station.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include a boat ramp, a beach, picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms and laundry facilities. This KOA is located in the the gorgeous Montana city of Polson. The town is popular for its excellent local attractions, museums and historic sites, so make sure to carve out some time to visit Polson.
