There's also the Lewis and Clark Back Country Byway, Sacajawea Scenic Byway and a number of great local wineries, specialty shops and craft eateries for visitors to take advantage of. Ekstrom’s Stage Station is a collection of historic log buildings reassembled along Montana’s famous Rock Creek, functioning today as a campground. The campground is situated in a large grassy meadow surrounded by tall pine trees and is famously quaint and quiet, comfortably accommodating RV’s up to 45′ in length. Please call ahead regarding availability for larger RV’s.  The campground offers water & electric sites as well as full hookup sites. Nearby Rock Creek lures fisherfolk from all over and provides the perfect background music for hikers. Basketball, volleyball courts and playground are also provided. In addition to RV sites and tent sites, there are also rustic log cabins, an historic school house, and two tiny houses on wheels. 

Chick's Motel and RV Park features full RV hook-ups, showers, laundry facilities, water, electricity, and of course the restaurant and bar right next door for all the food and fun you need to make your stay in the mountains complete. Tamarack's Resort is located in the picturesque Swan Valley. Campers can look forward to a plethora of excellent local activities, such as alpine hiking and fishing for whitefish and various species of trout. Guests can also go canoeing, boating, kayaking and water skiing on the nearby lake. There's also plenty of acreage and facilities for golfing and exploring, and of course be sure to bring your mountain bike to truly experience the paths and trails. At the campsite itself, visitors can enjoy a volleyball and basketball court, horseshoes and other group activities. 

The Whitetail Creek Motel and RV Park is located in Whitehall, Montana and is a popular spot for exploring some of Montana's most pristine natural environments. Campers can look forward to gorgeous fir and pine trees as well as the beautiful banks of the creek. Be sure to take your fishing line to plumb the creek for trout, and picnic blankets for enjoying an easy-going afternoon at the water's edge. There's also plenty of open land for hiking and biking, as well as local attractions in the town of Whitetail, such as a museum, excellent eateries and a number of camping conveniences like supply and food stores.
