The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest is located close to Georgetown Lake. If you like fishing, you'll absolutely love this lake. Look forward to ice and pond fishing for various species of trout, and calm, beautiful waters for canoeing, kayaking or boating. Water skiing and swimming are also popular at this park. Halfway between the Glacier National Park and Yellowstone is the Deer lodge KOA. With Clark Fork River running right through it, campers can look forward to excellent fishing for brown trout. There's also a plethora of outdoor activities to keep campers busy and having fun. Visitors can look forward to horseshoes, badminton, scenic viewing and local attractions. Check out the Old Montana Prison Complex, Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site and the Montana Museum. There's also a tour shuttle to take campers to various historic or cultural landmarks at Deer Lodge, so look forward to those!

The Racetrack Campground is located in southwest Montana near the Racetrack Creek, and is surrounded by the gorgeous pines and firs native to Montana. Visitors can look forward to excellent trout fishing at the creek, as well as plenty of space for picnicking and enjoying group fun. There's also natural paths to explore, so be sure to do some hiking and biking and pause every now and again to catch a glimpse of the wildlife in the area. Deer, elk and moose are common.
