Visitors can also take advantage of canoeing, kayaking, boating and swimming, as well as clear, dark skies for stargazing. 

The Swisher Lake Campground is located northwest of the town of Eureka, and is a favorite among campers looking for a quiet getaway into the pristine natural landscape of Montana. Get ready to go horseback riding and mountain biking along the hills and peaks of the wilderness, and also hiking and exploring. The area is known for its wildlife, so keep your eyes open for elk, moose and deer. Boating and fishing at the lake are also very common, so be sure to take advantage of the water and have a great time. 

The Star Meadows Guard Station Cabin is located in near Tally Lake. Campers can look forward to world-class trout fishing at the lake, boating, water skiing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming. The area is thick with lush, thriving forestry, so visitors can also expect excellent hiking, biking and horseback riding trails, as well as plenty of fresh air. Hunting is also popular at this cabin, as is wildlife viewing and winter sports like sow shoeing, sledding and skiing. The Grave Creek Campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and is a great place to lose yourself in the gorgeous Montana mountain side. Fishing is one of the main activities at this campsite, so get ready for excellent trout fishing and beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset over the water's surface. Wildlife and scenic viewing is also common at this park, so keep your eyes open and your camera handy to soak in the views of the gorgeous mountainside as well as the curious elk, deer and moose that roam the wilderness. 

The Big Therriault Lake Campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and is a gorgeous blend of light blue lake water, clear skies and thick, lush forests all around the lake. Popular for fishing, a wide variety of trout can be caught at the lake, and campers can also look forward to hiking. Strap on those hiking boots and mountain biking shoes for an adventure through the hillsides and valleys. If you're prefer to stay on the water, you can look forward to plenty of water space for boating, swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking. 

The Sun Canyon L&C Campground is located in a lush, yet rugged area within the Lew and Clark National Forest, and is conveniently situated along the Gibson Reservoir. Visitors can look forward to excellent fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking, with gorgeous sights over the water's surface at dusk and dawn. The campground is also popular for biking and hiking so be sure to pack well so you can truly explore the trails and unmarked territory of the forest. Soak in the landscape through hiking the gorgeous trails of mountain biking the challenging trails. Picnicking is another favorite at this campground is if you're a fan of fun with friends around sandwiches and juices, this park's numerous picnic tables will make you super happy. Surrounded by thriving fir and pine trees, this campground provides campers with the perfect environment to have a relaxing and fun getaway.

The McGillivray Campground is located in Libby, Montana, adjacent to a reservoir. At an elevation of over 2,500 feet, this campground is perfectly nestled within dense forestry, so campers can look forward to wildlife viewing, exploring and hiking. Mountain biking is a popular activity at this campsite so get ready for challenging paths and beautiful views from various spots around the reservoir. An of course, fishing is popular at this campsite. Look forward to kokanee salmon, trout and whitefish, as well as plenty of surface acreage on the reservoir for canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking.
