The Lost Johnny Point Campground is located high in the Rocky Mountains and is one of the most picturesque campgrounds in this area. Visitors can look forward to excellent scenes, fresh air and long, challenging hiking trails. With an over 27,000 acre reservoir, campers can enjoy boating, swimming and fishing for cutthroat trout. Guests can also go canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding, so don't forget your water gear. Picnicking is also common at this park, but don't limit yourself to the picnic tables. The Apgar Campground is located on the southern tip of Lake McDonald in the breathtaking Glacier National Park. Campers and sight seers can look forward to alpine meadows and pristine forests, and with over 700 miles of trails, is perfect for a relaxing mountain escape. Campers can look forward to hiking and mountain biking the various trails, and at an elevation over over 5,500 feet, is all steeped in a breezy, cool environment. Visitors can also take advantage of wildlife viewing, so keep your eyes open for bears, mule deer, moose, elk and small birds. Like fishing? You'll love this park for its abundance of whitefish, cutthroat, bull and rainbow trout. The Going-To-The-Sun road is a gorgeous and scenic drive, so be sure to spend time on this wonder of engineering.

Zip's Place Cabin is located in Essez, Montana and is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Lose yourself at winter time in the gorgeous, white snow and long paths for snow mobile drives, sledding and skiing. During your excursions, keep your eyes open for wildlife like elk, deer and moose, and at summer months be sure to enjoy the lush greenery of the Montana forests. Other popular activities at the park include hiking and mountain biking, and also be sure to look up during those clear, dark nights to enjoy some stargazing. 

The Kintla lake Campground is located in the Glacier National Park and so is a gorgeous oasis of pure Montana forestry and lakes. It's remote and located at the park's North Fork area where there's plenty of quiet and plenty of shade. Trout fishing and non-motorized sports like canoeing and kayaking are common on this lake, but also get ready for some spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the waterside. And don't forget your hiking boots! This area is popular for excellent paths and challenging trails, so get ready for a tough and peaceful hike!

Challenge Cabin is available during the winter and is located just 25 minutes from Hungry Horse, Montana. This primitive cabin is perfect for explorers seeking to escape the hustle, bustle and distraction of daily life and enjoy winter sports such as sledding, skiing and snow boarding. All around the cabin are acres and acres of gorgeous countryside, filled with tall fir and pine trees and echoes of peace and quiet. Campers can also look forward to plenty of space for hiking, wildlife viewing and exploration, and the Flathead River is nearby so get there early in the season for fishing. 

The Summit Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Get ready to immerse yourself in the gorgeous rolling hills, mountains and small valleys of the campground, where pine and fir are in abundance. Visitors can look forward to plenty of challenging yet beautiful hiking trails and for walking, exploring and mountain biking. Picnicking is also immensely popular at this park, as is stargazing, so be sure to find a camping spot that has a clear overview of the sky. 

The St. Mary Lake Campground is located in the Glacier National Park, and is perfect for a quiet, easy-going vacation in the Montana mountains. Prairies, hills and forests all converge to create a spectacular landscape around this pristine lake.The open meadows around the water provide an excellent space for wildlife viewing, so look forward to elk, mule deer, moose and small creatures while you journey through the numerous hiking and biking trails. Fishing is also very popular here, so look forward to kokanee salmon, white fish and various species of trout. Visitors can also sit in on the Native American Speaks program that exhibits and celebrates the Native American tribes that call the state home.
