The Missoula KOA is located within the city of Missoula and surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. The friendly staff and well-managed campground make it easy to enjoy the gorgeous Montana landscape the campground is nestled within. Campers can explore the Lewis and Clark Trail, Garnett Ghost Town, Smoke Jumpers Museum and National Bison Range. This campground is also popular because it sits at a great stopping point right between the Yellowstone National Park and the Glacier National Park, so not only will you get to see the iconic yellow volcano, but also get the chance to view other geological features and sights.  

The Jennings Camp Campground is located in the Bitterroot national Forest, and campers flock there continually to soak in those gorgeous views from the mountain peaks. With acres and acres of fir and pine trees filling the landscape, the campsite is also popular for its hiking and biking paths and wildlife viewing. Look forward to elk, deer and moose, as well as plenty of white fish and trout in the nearby East Fork of the Bitterroot River to fish. The campground is also popular for picnicking, so it's perfect if you're camping with a group. 

The Cardwell Store & RV Park is known for its excellent onsite amenities and attractions right on site! Located directly behind a convenience store and gas station you won’t have to go far to get what you need. Monument peak Cabin is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest, and is located on a lookout with a breathtaking view of the Little Belt Mountains. At an over 7,300 foot elevation, campers can look forward to cool temperatures perfect for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, wildlife viewing and hunting. As you explore the area, keep your eyes open for white-tailed deer, bald eagles and elk. The site is also popular for winter sports, so if you snow mobile riding, cross country skiing and snow shoeing, you'll fall in love with this hilly and picturesque spot. 

The Sam Billings Memorial Campground is located in a scenic area along the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, and is surrounded by yellow-bark poinderosa pine. Visitors can look forward to free air, and wide open spaces for hiking, biking and exploring, as well as the nearby river for water activities. This campground is popular for trout fishing at the river, as well as river rafting, boating and some swimming. The Painted Rocks Lake is also relatively close by for even more water fun and gorgeous views of the Montana wilderness. Also be sure to keep your eyes open for wildlife like deer, elk and curious moose, as well as the occasional small creature and bird. The Horse Creek Hot Spring is also nearby for a soak in pure, mineral water!
