Mountain biking is a popular activity at this campsite so get ready for challenging paths and beautiful views from various spots around the reservoir. An of course, fishing is popular at this campsite. Look forward to kokanee salmon, trout and whitefish, as well as plenty of surface acreage on the reservoir for canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking. 

Located in the beautiful Swan River Valley is the Lake Placid Lake State Park, and the lake provides a peaceful setting for your next Montana getaway. Campers can look forward to boating, fishing for whitefish and trout, canoeing or kayaking, water skiing, or just enjoy a picnic at the waterside. If you enjoy birding, you'll absolutely love this bar, so look forward to species like red-necked grepes, great blue herons, bald eagles and osprey. Mariner's Haven is a campground located on the extreme northwest end of Montana near the Koocanusa Reservoir. The campground is also near the Rocky Mountains, so campers can look forward to acres and acres of pristine forestry, with fir and pine trees densely packed around the reservoir and up the mountain sides. Visitors can expect a thriving ecosystems with curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as beautiful skies for stargazing. At winter time, campers can take advantage of water sports like skiing, sledding and snow shoeing, so if you like those activities, you'll absolutely love this park. 

The Nugget RV Park is located in the beautiful town of St. Regis Montana and is known for its majestic scenery. Campers can look forward to acres and acres of pristine, untouched fir and pine trees, and forestry that opens up for small grassy spots or challenging hiking trails. This is also a popular base camp for day trips to various places like Idaho or the Flathead Lake State Park, a lake historically known for world class fishing.
