The Ashley Lake North Campground is located along the sky blue waters of Ashley Lake and is an absolute treasure among visitors and locals alike. For those of you hoping for more relaxing activities, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing and swimming are also common at Ashley Lake. The Sylvia Lake Campground is a primitive site, with plenty of excellent mountain-scapes over the sea and sky. There's also plenty of  gorgeous land for all of your hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding needs. Picnicking is also popular at this site, and a little known treat is stargazing. Stay out late and spread a blanket to enjoy the true beauty of the park. 

The Silvertip Cabin is located only a short walk from the Spotted River, and at an elevation of over 4,400 feet, is a great site for all types of outdoor activities. The cabin is only available on weekends, but during those few days, guests can enjoy great hiking and horseback riding trails, hunting and wildlife viewing. There are elk, moose, deer and a plethora of small creatures hidden within the forestry, so stay alert and curious! With plenty of fresh air and wide open space for exploring, this is a popular site so book early!

The Swan lake Campground is located just across from the lake and is newly renovated with paved campsites. Visitors can look forward to gorgeous views from the hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as plenty of trout fishing at the lake. Campers can also expect other water sports such as water skiing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. There are also numerous picnic tables, so get ready for quiet, peaceful picnics along the waterside. 

The Home Gulch Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest, Montana, and is a popular campsite for its location along the north fork of the Sun River. Campers can look forward to a plethora of iconic outdoor activities such as fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout, boating, kayaking and light swimming. Visitors can also enjoy exploring the gorgeous hills and peaks on foot or on bicycles, and see some breathtaking scenes and wildlife. Picnicking is also another popular event, with plenty of flat spots and fresh air for a great time under the sun.  

The Mortimer Gulch Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest and is a great, quiet spot for nature enthusiasts. Keep you eyes open for elk as you explore, and be sure to enjoy the crisp, fresh air of the hilltops. The Big Arm Campground is located in the Flathead Lake State Park and is a great place to bring your family and friends for a great Montana adventure. The Warm Springs Campground and Picnic Area is located on two acres of gorgeous lodgepole forest. The Warm Springs Creek runs adjacent to the campground and is perfect for fishing and wildlife viewing, with excellent scenes at dawn and dusk. Be sure to pack gear for hiking and mountain biking, and while your outside, keep yours eyes peel for wildlife like elk and curious small animals. Of course, picnicking is another common activity at this park, so remember to pack big spray and blankets!

The Douglas Creek Cabin is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest and features a number of great outdoor activities that can be done in the carefully-curated solitude of the forest. Campers can look forward to acres and acres of pine and fir trees to explore and hike, as well as curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose. Hunting is also popular, as well as winter sports like snow shoeing, skiing and sledding. At a high elevation, this beautiful cabin is usually on high demand, so if you're hoping to enjoy a bit of peace and seclusion, reserve it early.

The Indian Trees Campground is located in the rugged Bitterroot National Forest. Campers can look forward to excellent fishing for cutthroat and other types of trout at the nearby Camp Creek. There's also several excellent hiking trails, so expect challenging paths along the Nez Perce National Historic Trail and a neighboring scenic trail. While visitors explore, they can keep their eyes open for wildlife such as mule and white-tailed deer, moose and elk, as well as smaller animals and birds. Big game hunting is popular at the Indian Trees Campground. Nearby are several great attractions like the Lost Trail hot Spring and neighboring creeks and streams. 

Challenge Cabin is available during the winter and is located just 25 minutes from Hungry Horse, Montana. This primitive cabin is perfect for explorers seeking to escape the hustle, bustle and distraction of daily life and enjoy winter sports such as sledding, skiing and snow boarding. All around the cabin are acres and acres of gorgeous countryside, filled with tall fir and pine trees and echoes of peace and quiet. The McGregor lake campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and has been a mainstay for outdoor enthusiasts for decades. Campers can look forward to plenty of trout fishing, as well as tons of space on the water for activities like kayaking, canoeing, boating and paddle boarding. Not a huge fan of the water? Soak in the landscape through hiking the gorgeous trails of mountain biking the challenging trails. Picnicking is another favorite at this campground is if you're a fan of fun with friends around sandwiches and juices, this park's numerous picnic tables will make you super happy. Surrounded by thriving fir and pine trees, this campground provides campers with the perfect environment to have a relaxing and fun getaway.
