The Jennings Camp Campground is located in the Bitterroot national Forest, and campers flock there continually to soak in those gorgeous views from the mountain peaks. With acres and acres of fir and pine trees filling the landscape, the campsite is also popular for its hiking and biking paths and wildlife viewing. Look forward to elk, deer and moose, as well as plenty of white fish and trout in the nearby East Fork of the Bitterroot River to fish. The campground is also popular for picnicking, so it's perfect if you're camping with a group. 

The Cardwell Store & RV Park is known for its excellent onsite amenities and attractions right on site! Located directly behind a convenience store and gas station you won’t have to go far to get what you need. Bring your pets, we’d love to have them stay with us as well!   Amenities & Activities The park features amenities such as: pull through sites, big rig access, clean restrooms & hot showers, sewer & water access, free WIFI, laundry facilities, electricity, a gas station, and a convenience store. Enjoy local fishing or a game of horseshoes.   Attractions You can also look forward to attractions such as the Cardwell Community Church, Lewis & Clark Caverns and a long list of great local fishing spots. The Alta Campground is located in the scenic wilderness of the Bitterroot National Forest, near the West Form of the Bitterroot River. The yellow-barked ponderosa pine tower over most campsites, and campers can also look forward to an excellent angler and trout fishing opportunity at the riverside. There's also plenty of space by the water for water sports like swimming, kayaking and some boating. While you're at the campsite, keep your eyes open for wildlife like elk, deer and moose, and don't be shy about exploring on foot or bike. There's plenty to see and experience. There's also nearby attractions for campers to enjoy, such as Hughes Creek and natural hot springs just 18 miles from the campground.

The Grasshopper Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge national Forest. Campers can look forward to a breathtaking oasis of pine and fir trees, rolling hills and high peaks for hiking and mountain biking. Visitors who enjoy winter sports will love this park for providing an excellent landscape for snow showing, sledding and skiing. Grasshopper Creek is located near the campsite, so look forward to river and stream fishing for trout and excellent spots for river rafting and kayaking. Also be sure to pause for picnicking and group fun at the low, leveled plains at this park, which are also perfect for looking up and stargazing!

The Sam Billings Memorial Campground is located in a scenic area along the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, and is surrounded by yellow-bark poinderosa pine. Visitors can look forward to free air, and wide open spaces for hiking, biking and exploring, as well as the nearby river for water activities. This campground is popular for trout fishing at the river, as well as river rafting, boating and some swimming. The Painted Rocks Lake is also relatively close by for even more water fun and gorgeous views of the Montana wilderness. Also be sure to keep your eyes open for wildlife like deer, elk and curious moose, as well as the occasional small creature and bird. The Horse Creek Hot Spring is also nearby for a soak in pure, mineral water!
