Located in the Flathead National Forest is the Lindberg Lake Campground, a gorgeous oasis of Montana wilderness and pristine waters. Campers can look forward to wildlife viewing, so keep your eyes peeling for elk, moose, deer and various species of birds. There's also plenty of open space for hiking, biking, horseback riding and exploring, as well as acres of water space on the lake to fish, swim, boat, water ski and even just enjoy a quiet evening by the water side. 

The Upper Stillwater Lake Campground is located is located in the Flathead National Forest and though it is a primitive campsite, it is very popular, especially around the summer months. The campsite is well-known for its gorgeous scenes and hiking trails, as well as fishing at the lake. Look forward to plenty of trout, and great weather for swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking and water skiing. Campers can also expect great wildlife viewing; keep your eyes open for curious deer, moose and elk, as well as beautiful birds near the lakeside.  

The Swan lake Campground is located just across from the lake and is newly renovated with paved campsites. Visitors can look forward to gorgeous views from the hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as plenty of trout fishing at the lake. Campers can also expect other water sports such as water skiing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. There are also numerous picnic tables, so get ready for quiet, peaceful picnics along the waterside. 

The Logging Creek Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest. Campers can look forward to an abundance of brook and rainbow trout in the creek, as well as peaceful water sports such as paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. The campground is also known for a number of excellent trails, so get ready to conquer the Deep Creek National Recreation Trail and others.

The Mt. Wam Lookout Cabin is located at the Kootenai National Forest, and is a popular spot for enjoying the great Montana outdoors. The lookout offers breathtaking views of the Canada Rockies, and from this vantage point, visitors can enjoy excellent sunrises, sunsets and clear skies for stargazing. While you're out hiking, mountain biking and even snow shoeing, keep your eyes open for curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as a few bears and wolves. Birding is also very popular here so be sure to keep your camera handy!

The Big Therriault Lake Campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and is a gorgeous blend of light blue lake water, clear skies and thick, lush forests all around the lake. Popular for fishing, a wide variety of trout can be caught at the lake, and campers can also look forward to hiking. Strap on those hiking boots and mountain biking shoes for an adventure through the hillsides and valleys. If you're prefer to stay on the water, you can look forward to plenty of water space for boating, swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking. 

The Sun Canyon L&C Campground is located in a lush, yet rugged area within the Lew and Clark National Forest, and is conveniently situated along the Gibson Reservoir. Visitors can look forward to excellent fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking, with gorgeous sights over the water's surface at dusk and dawn. The campground is also popular for biking and hiking so be sure to pack well so you can truly explore the trails and unmarked territory of the forest. The Lewis and Clark Forest has quite the population of bears, so be sure to keep an eye open while you're out wildlife viewing and climbing the inclines. 

If you're looking for a beautiful and serene escape into the gorgeous mountains of the Lewis and Clark National Park, you'll be in for a treat at the Benchmark Campground. Neighbored by heavily wooden and the Wood Creek, this campsite is perfect for early mornings journeys down to the waterside for fishing and fresh air, and long, challenging hikes through the forest. The Big Arm Campground is located in the Flathead Lake State Park and is a great place to bring your family and friends for a great Montana adventure. Campers can look forward to a plethora of excellent attractions like hiking the challenging and beautiful trails along the hills, as well as a number of water sports. If you like the water, you'll fall in love with Flathead Lake. Expansive, the lake has plenty of room for fishing, swimming, cruising, kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing and paddle boarding, as well as a stellar view of the horizon to catch one of those gorgeous Montana sunsets. 

The Grave Creek Campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and is a great place to lose yourself in the gorgeous Montana mountain side. Fishing is one of the main activities at this campsite, so get ready for excellent trout fishing and beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset over the water's surface. Wildlife and scenic viewing is also common at this park, so keep your eyes open and your camera handy to soak in the views of the gorgeous mountainside as well as the curious elk, deer and moose that roam the wilderness. 

The McGregor lake campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and has been a mainstay for outdoor enthusiasts for decades. Campers can look forward to plenty of trout fishing, as well as tons of space on the water for activities like kayaking, canoeing, boating and paddle boarding. Not a huge fan of the water? Soak in the landscape through hiking the gorgeous trails of mountain biking the challenging trails. Picnicking is another favorite at this campground is if you're a fan of fun with friends around sandwiches and juices, this park's numerous picnic tables will make you super happy. Surrounded by thriving fir and pine trees, this campground provides campers with the perfect environment to have a relaxing and fun getaway.

Near the banks of a high elevation lake, the park is surrounded by deep woods, fresh air and offers acres and acres of forest for exploration. Hiking is certainly a popular activity at this park, so if you love to hike, bring your boots and get ready for the several challenging trails that extend out of the forest. Visitors can also enjoy plenty of fishing, and the campground is especially quiet early in the mornings for a quick escape into a serene fishing experience.
