The Grasshopper Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge national Forest. Campers can look forward to a breathtaking oasis of pine and fir trees, rolling hills and high peaks for hiking and mountain biking. Visitors who enjoy winter sports will love this park for providing an excellent landscape for snow showing, sledding and skiing. Grasshopper Creek is located near the campsite, so look forward to river and stream fishing for trout and excellent spots for river rafting and kayaking. The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest is located close to Georgetown Lake. If you like fishing, you'll absolutely love this lake. Look forward to ice and pond fishing for various species of trout, and calm, beautiful waters for canoeing, kayaking or boating. Water skiing and swimming are also popular at this park.
