The Murray Bay Campground is located 22 miles south of Martin City and is an idyllic, gorgeous spot for your next quiet escape into Montana. Look forward to fishing trout at the bay, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, boating and water skiing, as well as waterside picnics and star gazing. Get ready for beautiful views of mountain ranges in the distance and tall, majestic trees filling the land. The Apgar Campground is located on the southern tip of Lake McDonald in the breathtaking Glacier National Park. Campers and sight seers can look forward to alpine meadows and pristine forests, and with over 700 miles of trails, is perfect for a relaxing mountain escape. Campers can look forward to hiking and mountain biking the various trails, and at an elevation over over 5,500 feet, is all steeped in a breezy, cool environment. Visitors can also take advantage of wildlife viewing, so keep your eyes open for bears, mule deer, moose, elk and small birds. Like fishing? You'll love this park for its abundance of whitefish, cutthroat, bull and rainbow trout. The Holland Lake Campground is located near the Holland Falls National Recreation Trail. At an elevation of over 4,500 feet, visitors can enjoy the mild weather, thick foliage and plenty of shade. There's also several excellent trails that take campers up and around some of the most beautiful spots of the Holland Falls area. Don't be shy! You don't have to limit yourself to hiking; get your mountain bike out of the garage and have a blast at these trails if you can. There's also plenty of fishing to be done at Holland Lake; there's a variety of trout and salmon and a wide lake surface that's perfect for canoeing, kayaking, swimming and boating.
