The Philipsburg Bay Campground is adjacent Georgetown lake, and is perfect for a quiet yet adventure-filled outdoor experience. The site is popular for trout fishing, but is also great for wildlife viewing outside of the water. Keep your eyes peeled for elk, deer, moose and even bears, as well as the sights and smells of the gorgeous lush forests. Canoeing and boating are also popular, as is hiking and horseback riding. The high elevation ensures excellent weather for all kinds of activities, so be sure to plan a long trip to experience it all!

Serene, beautiful and off the beaten Montana trail is the Racetrack Cabin. The small building is tucked away within the dense forest and is well-known is a quiet safe-haven for hunters, and retreat from the curious bears roaming around outside. At an elevation of over 6,300 feet, expect a cool climate and acres of green vegetation. Popular outdoor activities include: hiking the various trails, or trout fishing at Racetrack Creek. Vacationers can also look forward to winter sports such as snowboarding and skiing. An hour drive from the cabin will take campers to the city for supplies, fine, local dining and even some live music or a historic site or two. 

The Spring Hill Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Lodgepole Pine Forests of southwestern Montana, and runs adjacent to the Warms Springs Creek. Campers can look forward to a number of great outdoor activities, all within acres and acres of fresh, gorgeous pines, and at an elevation of over 3,000 feet. Popular at the campground is wildlife viewing; catch an occasional and curious elk, deer, moose and bighorn sheep. Visitors can expect excellent rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout fishing at the lake and plenty of room for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. Look forward to ice and pond fishing for various species of trout, and calm, beautiful waters for canoeing, kayaking or boating. Water skiing and swimming are also popular at this park. The air is fresh, clean and clear, making it ideal for picnicking and stargazing. The are is quiet, well-maintained and beautiful, and is great for your next Montana getaway. 

The Racetrack Campground is located in southwest Montana near the Racetrack Creek, and is surrounded by the gorgeous pines and firs native to Montana. Visitors can look forward to excellent trout fishing at the creek, as well as plenty of space for picnicking and enjoying group fun. There's also natural paths to explore, so be sure to do some hiking and biking and pause every now and again to catch a glimpse of the wildlife in the area. Deer, elk and moose are common. 

The Blodgett Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest and rests under the towering cliff faces of the Blodgett Canyon. Campers can look forward to excellent views of mountains, canyons and valleys, all filled with lush, thriving trees. Campers can look forward to hiking and biking the gorgeous paths, as well as beautifully red sunrises and sunsets. Picnicking as also another popular activity at the campsite, so look forward to quiet, flat fields and small, curious animals like deer, birds and elk. 

The Gird Point Lookout Cabin is located in the Bitterroot national Forest, and is popular because it's so secluded from most other parks. Campers can look forward to a unique chance to camp on the top of a mountain peak in an old-time rustic setting. Equipped with everything a visitor will need for their stay, the cabin also has gear for outdoor activities. You can also bring your own things to enjoy mountain biking, winter sports like snow shoeing and skiing as well as hiking. And of course, enjoy the gorgeous panoramic views of the mountain ranges and canyons below. Be sure to not only pause and stargaze, but bring your camera to capture those views. 

The Tally Lake Campground is located to the west of Whitefish, Montana, and offers world-class fishing and camping opportunities for visitors. Visitors can look forward to horseback riding, hiking and biking, as well as plenty of water sports such as trout fishing, canoeing, water skiing, swimming and kayaking. Wildlife viewing is another popular activity; keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles, migratory fowls and water fowls while you're near the water. 

The Ashley Lake North Campground is located along the sky blue waters of Ashley Lake and is an absolute treasure among visitors and locals alike. Take time at the waterside to fish for various types of trout or go water skiing or boating on the water during one of the area's many warm days. For those of you hoping for more relaxing activities, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing and swimming are also common at Ashley Lake. The Lost Johnny Point Campground is located high in the Rocky Mountains and is one of the most picturesque campgrounds in this area. Visitors can look forward to excellent scenes, fresh air and long, challenging hiking trails. With an over 27,000 acre reservoir, campers can enjoy boating, swimming and fishing for cutthroat trout. Guests can also go canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding, so don't forget your water gear. Picnicking is also common at this park, but don't limit yourself to the picnic tables. Go out and explore; you're bound to find a great spot while you're out roaming the forest.

The Sylvia Lake Campground is a primitive site, with plenty of excellent mountain-scapes over the sea and sky. Look forward to lake activities such as trout fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing and fishing. There's also plenty of  gorgeous land for all of your hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding needs. Picnicking is also popular at this site, and a little known treat is stargazing. Stay out late and spread a blanket to enjoy the true beauty of the park. 

The Emery Bay Campground was located along the Hungry Horse Reservoir and is a great site for your next outdoor adventure. Take advantage of the world-class trout fishing at the bay, as well as the wide surface of the water for swimming, boating, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking. Visitors can also look forward to hiking the gorgeous trails and mountain biking across the hills. Be sure to keep your eyes open for elk, moose, deer and beautiful birds near the water side.
