Campers can also expect water skiing, boating and swimming, as well as stargazing at night. This is a truly excellent spot for exploring the expansive outdoors of Montana. 

The Mussigbrod Campground is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Campers love these grounds because of the number of excellent activities they can enjoy, including horseback riding and scenic viewing. Wildlife viewing is also popular, so keep your eyes open for mule deer, elk and moose, as well as small creatures and birds. If you like water activities, you'll love this campground; at the nearby lake, campers can look forward to whitefish and trout fishing, non-motorized boating and swimming. The Cliff Point Campground is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, and is a small lakeside campground perfect for a quiet, cozy mountain stay. Visitors can also take advantage of acres and acres of gorgeous pine and fir trees for hiking, biking and exploring. For the adventurer, Cliff Point is a true camping treasure. 

The Gird Point Lookout Cabin is located in the Bitterroot national Forest, and is popular because it's so secluded from most other parks. Campers can look forward to a unique chance to camp on the top of a mountain peak in an old-time rustic setting. Equipped with everything a visitor will need for their stay, the cabin also has gear for outdoor activities. You can also bring your own things to enjoy mountain biking, winter sports like snow shoeing and skiing as well as hiking. And of course, enjoy the gorgeous panoramic views of the mountain ranges and canyons below. Be sure to not only pause and stargaze, but bring your camera to capture those views. 

The Martin Creek Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest near Martin Creek, so campers can expect acres and acres of thriving fir and pine trees as well as pristine waters perfect for trout fishing. Love exploring? Visitors have access to a trail head from this campground that takes them to Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness, or just go mountain biking around the various paths around the creek. Picnicking is also popular at this campground, so if you have a big group, be sure to pack sandwiches and just enjoy the day at one of the picnic areas. 

The Hunters Spring Cabin is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest near Little Belt Mountain and White Tail Creek. Campers can look forward to hiking the gorgeous peaks, mountain biking the trails and hunting for game. Whether you're wildlife viewing or hunting, keep your eyes open for curious elk, moose, deer and bunnies. Exploring those dense pockets of fir and pine trees is spectacular at sunrise and sunset, so be sure to get up early or pause at dusk to soak in the light show. Winter sports are also popular at this campsite, so get ready for snow shoeing, snow mobile driving and cross country skiing. 

Monument peak Cabin is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest, and is located on a lookout with a breathtaking view of the Little Belt Mountains. At an over 7,300 foot elevation, campers can look forward to cool temperatures perfect for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, wildlife viewing and hunting. As you explore the area, keep your eyes open for white-tailed deer, bald eagles and elk. The site is also popular for winter sports, so if you snow mobile riding, cross country skiing and snow shoeing, you'll fall in love with this hilly and picturesque spot. 

The Russian Flat Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest. The park is known for its gentle landscape and thick, thriving forestry. Campers can look forward to gorgeous views while hiking and biking, as well as plenty of space to picnic and go exploring. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as a few birds and small creatures. And of course, if you love the stars, you'll enjoy the stargazing, sunrises and sunsets of this area. 

The Whitetaile Camp Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest and runs alongside Whitetail Creek. Campers can look forward to gorgeous views of the fir and pine trees densely crowding the creek, as well as beautiful sights at sunrise and sunset. If you like to hike and stay active, look forward to challenging paths, and a thriving ecosystem of deer, elk and moose. The Black Butte Cabin is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, right at the edge of a grassy meadow. At an elevation of over 8,900 feet, campers can enjoy plenty of fresh air and clear, expansive skies for stargazing at night. Get ready for some truly breath taking views of the volcanic cone and distance mountain ranges, but don't just enjoy it from a distance. Go out there and hike or bike the challenging trails to truly immerse yourself in the wilderness terrain. There's also plenty of wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for deer, elk and antelope while you're out exploring. Hunting is also common here, so if that's your sport of choice, you'll love this spot.
