The Warm Springs Creek runs adjacent to the campground and is perfect for fishing and wildlife viewing, with excellent scenes at dawn and dusk. Be sure to pack gear for hiking and mountain biking, and while your outside, keep yours eyes peel for wildlife like elk and curious small animals. Of course, picnicking is another common activity at this park, so remember to pack big spray and blankets!

The East Fork Cabin is located in the Bitterroot National Forest at the East Fork of the forest. This means campers can look forward to excellent whitefish and trout fishing at the river, as well as acres upon acres of fir and pine trees to explore; whether you're hiking or mountain biking, this lush, dense forestry is sure to amaze. White you're viewing the wilderness, keep your eyes open for wildlife like mule deer, moose and elk, and be sure to look up at night to enjoy some stellar stargazing. Horseback riding is also popular so take advantage of the trails and paths around this campground. Camping during the winter time? Visitors can expect excellent slopes for sledding, snow shoeing and skiing!

Wood Cabin is located on the scenic shore of Lake Como, and offers campers a rustic, winter escape into the woods of Montana. Visitors can look forward to spectacular mountain views, and quiet all around, as well as number of activities at the lake. Rainbow and cuttroat trout fishing, boating, swimming and other water sports are popular on the lake. About three miles from the cabin is a gorgeous waterfall, and there's other beautiful natural features to explore. The Lake Mary Ronan State Park is located in Proctor, Montana. This park is known as a breathtaking oasis of pine and fir trees, dense forestry and gorgeous views at the lakeside. Campers can look forward to hiking up the various hills and peaks to to capture one of those iconic Montana sunrises or sunsets, while also enjoying a quiet exploratory trip through the woods. Also be sure to take your mountain bike to really enjoy the slopes! Fishing is especially popular at this campground, so look forward to thick, healthy trout and plenty of water space for other activities like kayaking, boating and canoeing. Winter sports also put this campground on the map, so look forward to great ice fishing, skiing and snow shoeing while you're there!

The Indian Trees Campground is located in the rugged Bitterroot National Forest. Campers can look forward to excellent fishing for cutthroat and other types of trout at the nearby Camp Creek. There's also several excellent hiking trails, so expect challenging paths along the Nez Perce National Historic Trail and a neighboring scenic trail. While visitors explore, they can keep their eyes open for wildlife such as mule and white-tailed deer, moose and elk, as well as smaller animals and birds. Big game hunting is popular at the Indian Trees Campground. Nearby are several great attractions like the Lost Trail hot Spring and neighboring creeks and streams. 

The Rombo Campground is located in a scenic area along the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, and is surrounded by yellow-bark poinderosa pine. Visitors can look forward to free air, and wide open spaces for hiking, biking and exploring, as well as the nearby river for water activities. This campground is popular for trout fishing at the river, as well as river rafting, boating and some swimming. The Painted Rocks Lake is also relatively close by for even more water fun and gorgeous views of the Montana wilderness. The Horse Creek Hot Spring is also nearby for a soak in pure, mineral water!

Just a few miles from the gorgeous Georgetown Lake is the Cable Mountain Campground. It's also just north of Flint Creek, and that makes this campground excellent for trout fishing. At an elevation of over 6,000 feet, visitors can look forward to fresh, clean air and lush forestry, perfect for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Campers can also expect water skiing, boating and swimming, as well as stargazing at night. This is a truly excellent spot for exploring the expansive outdoors of Montana. 

The White house Campground is located in at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge Forest. Get ready for amazing scenes of distant mountain ranges, fresh air from the high elevation and great weather for your Montana adventure. Popular in late spring/summer, the campground is known for ATV paths, mountain biking, hiking trails and horseback riding. During the winter months, skiing and snow mobile-driving is popular, and of course, plenty of fishing at Thunderbolt Creek.  

The Orofino Campground and Picnic Area is located in southwest, Montana. At an elevation of over 6,500 feet, expect fresh air, mild weather and plenty of space for exploring, hiking and biking. This area is popular among campers looking to escape into a quiet, lush setting, so get ready for a peaceful environment and easy-going camping. There's also curious elk, deer and moss around, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for them! They're friendly and beautiful. 

The Gird Point Lookout Cabin is located in the Bitterroot national Forest, and is popular because it's so secluded from most other parks. Campers can look forward to a unique chance to camp on the top of a mountain peak in an old-time rustic setting. Equipped with everything a visitor will need for their stay, the cabin also has gear for outdoor activities. You can also bring your own things to enjoy mountain biking, winter sports like snow shoeing and skiing as well as hiking. And of course, enjoy the gorgeous panoramic views of the mountain ranges and canyons below. Be sure to not only pause and stargaze, but bring your camera to capture those views. 

The Schumaker Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest and sits on the edge of Twin Lakes. Though no motorized water sports are allowed on the lake, campers can look forward to plenty of peace and stillness to go paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Campers can also take advantage of the trails for hiking and mountain biking, but are encouraged to keep their eyes open for deer, moose, elk, birds and small creatures. Be sure to rise early or be still at dusk to catch one of those gorgeous red sunrises and sunsets. You won't be disappointed!

The Martin Creek Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest near Martin Creek, so campers can expect acres and acres of thriving fir and pine trees as well as pristine waters perfect for trout fishing. Love exploring? Visitors have access to a trail head from this campground that takes them to Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness, or just go mountain biking around the various paths around the creek. Picnicking is also popular at this campground, so if you have a big group, be sure to pack sandwiches and just enjoy the day at one of the picnic areas. 

The Sam Billings Memorial Campground is located in a scenic area along the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, and is surrounded by yellow-bark poinderosa pine. Challenge Cabin is available during the winter and is located just 25 minutes from Hungry Horse, Montana. This primitive cabin is perfect for explorers seeking to escape the hustle, bustle and distraction of daily life and enjoy winter sports such as sledding, skiing and snow boarding. All around the cabin are acres and acres of gorgeous countryside, filled with tall fir and pine trees and echoes of peace and quiet. Campers can also look forward to plenty of space for hiking, wildlife viewing and exploration, and the Flathead River is nearby so get there early in the season for fishing. 

The Mission Lookout Cabin towers above the forest canopy, providing guests with unrivaled 360 degree views of the beautiful Swan Lake. At an elevation of over 3,700 feet, visitors can look forward to great weather and scenic views of the Flathead National Forest. Along with the spectacular scenery, the immediate area offers visitors an unlimited array of outdoor activities ranging from fishing and swimming at the nearby Swan Lake, to watching the migratory waterfowl at the wildlife area. Hunting is also popular not far from the lookout. Shooting within 150 yards of the lookout or from the road is not allowed. A variety of hiking and mountain biking trails can be found in the area.    

The Tally Lake Campground is located to the west of Whitefish, Montana, and offers world-class fishing and camping opportunities for visitors. Visitors can look forward to horseback riding, hiking and biking, as well as plenty of water sports such as trout fishing, canoeing, water skiing, swimming and kayaking. Wildlife viewing is another popular activity; keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles, migratory fowls and water fowls while you're near the water. 

The Lost Johnny Point Campground is located high in the Rocky Mountains and is one of the most picturesque campgrounds in this area. Visitors can look forward to excellent scenes, fresh air and long, challenging hiking trails. With an over 27,000 acre reservoir, campers can enjoy boating, swimming and fishing for cutthroat trout. Guests can also go canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding, so don't forget your water gear. Picnicking is also common at this park, but don't limit yourself to the picnic tables. Go out and explore; you're bound to find a great spot while you're out roaming the forest.
