The Anglers Roost Campground is located in Hamilton, and its central location is perfect to immerse campers into a number of historic and cultural sites. Visitors can look forward to museums, ghost towns and the Indian Battlefield. Campers normally visit Anglers Roost for the gorgeous terrain and beautifully, carved geological features. Check out the rocks, mini-waterfalls and creeks, and be sure to cast a line in one of the nearby bodies of water for some excellent fishing. The Ruby Valley Campground is popular for its location; the park is surrounded by the dense, lush mountain ranges of the Ruby Valley Tobacco Root and Gravelly. Campers can take advantage of outdoor activities such as swimming in the private reservoir, panning for gold, hiking the gorgeous inclines, hunting and horseback riding. Other than the abundance of natural attractions, there are also man made attractions that draw in large crowds, especially during the summer time. The Vigitlante Campground is located in the Helena National Forest, popular for breathtaking forest views and plenty of fresh air. The Missouri River is nearby and is an excellent spot for fishing and water sports such as paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking and swimming.
