Located on 7 Harrington Road in Foster, - lies the Ginny-B Family Campground, it consists of 90 acres of tall oaks and open fields. A small spring-fed river meanders for nearly one-half mile through the center of the camping area. The river, which is clear and clean, is from 8 to 12 ft wide, and normally a few inches deep, with numerous shallow pools. Two recreation halls are available for the entertainment of our guests.  There is ample open area for recreation or games which require a large field. The baseball diamonds are provided with a backstop.  Basketball and Horseshoe Courts are available at no additional charge. A three acre pond with a beach is for swimming and sun bathing, and our smaller pond is for fishing. Also, the brook provides many hours of entertainment for the younger set. Pine Haven Campground is nestled in the Baker River Valley at the base of the White Mountains. Located on the South Branch of the Baker River, the campground has 3000 feet of river frontage. Pine Haven’s large, well-spaced sites can accommodate all types of camping from tents to 44′ RVs, offering quiet family camping in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You will enjoy refreshing swims in the clear mountain waters, night swimming in our lighted pool on warm summer evenings, excellent fresh water fishing, and hiking or biking through the forests.

The 998-acre Steep Rock Preserve offers hiking trails which follow the river banks and provide access into the hillsides above. Steep Rock Preserve is not your traditional campground. We offer three remote and primitive campsite sites, two alongside the Shepaug River which require walking approximately .5 mile to the sites: SR1 (wooded lot) and SR2 (open field); and SR3 is in a wooded lot with vehicle access and parking near the campsite. These are primitive sites immersed in nature - no Wi-Fi access, bring your own water, and enjoy the quiet.
