We are a small, family ran campground nestled in the River Valley area of the lakes and mountains region in Byron, Maine. Our campground is very accessible being located just off of the scenic by-way, state route 17 on the Swift River. Our quiet natural campground and cabins are set up for samples who want to take in the beauty that Maine's Lake and Mountain region has to offer. We have something for every type of camper, including RV sites, tent sites and cabins that have a rustic charm. Sites range from no hook-up to full 20/30/50 amp sites, wooded and seclude, some with riverfront access. One of the highlights of our campground is the Swift River, which is a popular place to pan for gold, collect rocks or swim. Coss Canyon has a 32 feet high gorge where the water depth occasionally exceeds 20 feet. Also in abundance from our backyard are hiking trails, ATV trails (250 miles), scenic overlooks, quaint towns, eateries, wildlife and fishing/hunting areas. Our ATV friendly camping areas are just a short jaunt to the trails and you can ride right to your site. Snowmobiling, snow shoeing and skiing are only a few of the top highlights during the winter months. This beautiful campground offers the perfect location with a mile of river frontage on the beautiful Exeter River that you can do all kinds of fun things like canoeing, fishing, and kayaking. There are many well-spaced wooded campsites to choose from that has all the amenities you could need. There are some very clean and modern facilities which are always a plus! There are a lot of wonderful activities that is fun for the whole family and the location as mention is perfect. There are many great places to visit that are only a short drive away! Parks Pond Campground is a mostly seasonal camper campground located on 14 acres of beautiful Parks Pond in the small town of Clifton, Maine.  Mike and Selina Lufkin and all the wonderful families want you to "come play in our neighborhood" soon.  Summer 2021 will be our 17th summer on the Pond with several "Theme Weekends" planned.  Our season opens May 14, 2021 and closes October 11, 2021 just in time for some leaf peeping.  Our campground features partial water and electric hookup sites along with tent sites for those seeking more traditional camping. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, canoeing and swimming outdoors. Yankeeland RV Resort opens every year on May 1st and is open until Columbus Day weekend. We offer nightly, weekly, monthly or full Seasonal camping.
