Indian Lake Park is a 177-acre, city owned park.  This delightful retreat is an ideal location not only for fishermen, but for picnickers and campers alike.  In addition to the 44-acre, no wake lake, the Park has many tree-shaded areas for the non-fisherman, as well.  A lovely two-mile nature interpretive trail encompasses the lake and is great for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing in the winter. The lake has a roped-off swimming area (swim at your own risk-no lifeguard) and kayaks and a canoe are available for rent. We offer full hook up RV sites, water and electric only sites, electric sites, primitive tent sites and cabins. Our cabins are far from fancy and have been standing since the 80's, but they are a clean and comfortable stay. Consider it glamping, where you get all the fun of camping but all the comforts of a bed, indoor bathroom, air conditioning/heat, and a kitchen to cook in. Our park managers/caretakers strive to ensure that you enjoy your stay at the park and create life long memories with your families. Hickory Haven RV Park and Campground sits on 27 acres of heavily shaded ground, ½ mile off state highway 61/218, just north of Keokuk Iowa. The developed property, includes 53, level drive thru or back in sites with full hook-up (water, electric and sewer) with 30 and 50 amp metered electrical. In addition there are a large number of sites for tent camping, with fire pits and 20 amp electric. The campground offers many amenities: clean showers and restrooms, a laundry room, a playground for small children, hiking trails, fishing pond and a lighted pavilion with grill and refrigerator.

It features 16 full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly (option of 30 or 50 amp). Many of them are pull through accessible. The park provides limited Wifi, welcomes pets on a leash, and has a sewer hookups at every site.  Campsite amenities offered include picnic tables and fire circles. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Visitors can also enjoy activities such as biking, hiking, fishing, and wildlife watching. Our little community has 2 banks, grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy, restaurants, NAPA auto, 2 gas stations, including Casey's pizza, Dollar General, and a historical hotel who guests have met a ghost or two. The Lakeroad Village RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Kirksville, Missouri and is a great spot for a fun and easy-going camping trip. Campers can look forward to wide spaces, clean sites and fresh air for sunset viewing and stargazing. Amenities onsite include: 50 amp sites, full hookups, cable TV, pull thrus, laundry facilities, restrooms, showers and laundry facilities, with opportunities for hiking, badminton and picnicking. The park is near the Kirksville’s downtown square, which offers 153 businesses including Downtown Cinema 8, shopping, dining, and museums. The Kirksville Arts Association hosts a free “Summer on the Square” concert each Friday night on the court house lawn June to August. Farmers Market offers fresh produce and locally grown items every Saturday morning May to October. Dine on cuisine that ranges from home-style cooking to upscale dining and Mexican to barbecue. Over 30 restaurants offer visitors a choice of dining to suit their palates. Kirksville also has nine excellent public park which include picnic shelters, and the city is adding pools, playground equipment, and softball fields. We invite campers to stay in our spacious parking lot that is right next to a charming bubbling brook. You can spend the day at the brewery tasting beers, eating food in the Brewpub, hanging put in the beer garden complete with Spring waterfall and Koi pond, shopping in the gift shop checking out the Cave where beer is stored, visiting the Great River Road Transportation Museum, and enjoying our National Brewery Museum which has an expansive collection of historical artifacts from the late as the early 1800s and a Research Library!
