Lucky Peak Lake is located in the foothills of southern Idaho on the Boise River, and is home to Macks Creek Park Campground. The site stretches along the lake shore among shady trees and acres of natural brush. Expect stellar wildlife such as antelope, mule deer, bald and golden eagles and California quail and chakur. Aside from excellent opportunities for photography and site seeing, visitors and locals can enjoy fishing smallmouth bass and rainbow fish, go boating and swimming.

Summit Lake Campground is located between Warm Lake and Landmark, and visitors love the fact that this campground is on a high elevation and enjoys many cool evenings. The scenic pine forest offers plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing; keep an eye out for bears, deer, elk, osprey, geese, foxes, grosbeaks and whooping cranes. Visitors can also go searching for water creatures, with fishing being especially popular in this area. Rainbow, bull and lake trout are common at Summit Lake.
