The Elk Lake Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. It is surrounded by pristine natural terrain with fir and pine trees all around and gorgeous nearby creeks and streams. If you like the water, get out on the lake for cruising, canoeing, kayaking and wind sailing, as well as thick, healthy trout.
