Cottonwood Family Campground is located in the beautiful town of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. The Canyon Campground is located in the Custer Gallatin National forest, and is a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts. Here's why: the area is thick with lush, thriving fir and pine trees, and the acres and acres of forestry guarantee fresh air for hiking, biking and picnicking. The Yellowstone River is also nearby, so campers can look forward to the sound of the water at night, and the river banks are perfect for exploring, light fishing and lounging. A favorite among campers is stargazing, and for good reason. The clear skies make for perfect views of the nightly light show!
