The Big Therriault Lake Campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and is a gorgeous blend of light blue lake water, clear skies and thick, lush forests all around the lake. Popular for fishing, a wide variety of trout can be caught at the lake, and campers can also look forward to hiking. Strap on those hiking boots and mountain biking shoes for an adventure through the hillsides and valleys. Mariner's Haven is a campground located on the extreme northwest end of Montana near the Koocanusa Reservoir. This KOA is located in the the gorgeous Montana city of Polson. The town is popular for its excellent local attractions, museums and historic sites, so make sure to carve out some time to visit Polson. Campers can look forward to the National Bison Range and Glacier National Park nearby where they can enjoy breathtaking mountain views, hiking and mountain biking. There's also a thriving ecosystem surrounding the campground, so visitors can expect to see not only tall, healthy fir and pine trees, but also elk, deer and moose. Most campers also take advantage of the neighboring Flathead Lake for touring, cruising and trout fishing, so be sure to set aside plenty of time for that. Local dining and entertainment is also excellent, so if you're hoping for a taste of local culture, visit the various restaurants and eateries around town. The campground itself also has great attractions like mini golf, a volleyball court and horseback riding paths for fun close to the campsite. You certainly won't be bored!

The Nugget RV Park is located in the beautiful town of St. Regis Montana and is known for its majestic scenery. Campers can look forward to acres and acres of pristine, untouched fir and pine trees, and forestry that opens up for small grassy spots or challenging hiking trails. This is also a popular base camp for day trips to various places like Idaho or the Flathead Lake State Park, a lake historically known for world class fishing. Quinn's Hot Springs is also nearby, so place to spend a few hours soaking in the therapeutic mineral water. The two is small and cozy with plenty to do around it, so be sure to pack everything you need in case the grocery store doesn't have what you need in stock.
