There are dump stations and caddy’s available. Dry camping also welcome. Our facilities are currently equipped with dump station and access to water. We are currently developing, full hook-up sites coming Fall 2022. No public restroom or bathhouse on site.

Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge is an awesomely vast expanse of wilderness southern swamp covering approximately 700 square miles and located mostly in the southeast corner of Georgia, U.S.A. The Okefenokee is crisscrossed by over 120 miles of paddle and motorboat water trails. It is a major destination for wetlands nature lovers paddlers and boaters. The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge offers a good number of wonderfully easy to sometimes extremely challenging day use paddle only water trails. Also, enjoy numerous excitingly fun to navigate dual-use paddle or motorboat water trails all set up for the public to access without an overnight permit or fee requirement. A very controlled and limited number of overnight wilderness paddle trail fee permits for overnight camping paddlers are issued through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (the administrative and managing government agency at Okefenokee NWR).

Beaver Run RV Park is a big rig and pet friendly RV park located on 22321 Excelsior Church Road in Metter, GA. The site includes WiFi, water, sewer, showers, electricity. You can also do activities such as Volleyball, boating, and fishing.

We are a privately owned Campground directly across from the Main Entrance to the Okefenokee Swamp (NWR), when you stay at Pastimes you can do as little or as much as you would like. We have a clean laundry room and updated bath house with new, larger hot showers. These facilities have a handicap ramp for ease of access. We are pet friendly, with a fenced ‘pooch park’ for your dogs to play in off-leash. While we have easy access to I-75, we separated from the Interstate noise by a thick hedge and 3-story motel.
