At Safe Haven Rv Park we believe, "Home is where you park it and make it". The campground features full 30/50 amp hookup sites. Given our convenient location, guest are able to explore areas such as The Allman Brothers Museum, Ocmulgee National Monument and the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Until then if you are a traveler and need to rest we have a nice safe place to park close to the freeway exit. The Dreamland RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Douglas, Georgia where things are growing fast! The park offers a great selection of sites to choose from to accommodate every type of RV and camping preference. Amenities at the park include full hookups, 30 acres of wooded and open sites with big rig pull thru sites with plenty of space for your convenience. We have recently added an outdoor screen for watching movies or sport games when reserved through office no charge premium park lots. Walmart, various restaurants and Lowes are all within a few miles of the Park along with nearby shopping centers for those wanting to explore around a little bit more! Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge is an awesomely vast expanse of wilderness southern swamp covering approximately 700 square miles and located mostly in the southeast corner of Georgia, U.S.A. The Okefenokee is crisscrossed by over 120 miles of paddle and motorboat water trails. It is a major destination for wetlands nature lovers paddlers and boaters. The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge offers a good number of wonderfully easy to sometimes extremely challenging day use paddle only water trails. Also, enjoy numerous excitingly fun to navigate dual-use paddle or motorboat water trails all set up for the public to access without an overnight permit or fee requirement. A very controlled and limited number of overnight wilderness paddle trail fee permits for overnight camping paddlers are issued through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (the administrative and managing government agency at Okefenokee NWR).

We are descended from pre-Colonial and Revolutionary War lineage, Edmund Chancey, a descendant of Charles Chancy,  arriving as a colonist, a person of quality approved by King Charles I.  John T. Smith, Jr., in 2017 plotted a strategy to reclaim this land from kudzu, wild grapevines, rattlesnakes, coyotes, fire ants, and other encroaching snakes-in-the-grass.  Come and enjoy our 55 year old Loblolly forests and our 100 year old pecan orchards.
