The Black Creek Lake Campground is located in the beautiful town of Honey Grove, Texas and is the perfect spot for an idyllic southern vacation. Campers can look forward to great activities on the water, including: canoeing, fishing, non-motorized boating and water skiing. Catfish, largemouth bass and crappie are commonly caught species. There's also plenty of space and trails for hiking, biking and scenic viewing, and for the urban adventurer, there's a number of excellent antique and specialty shops, as well as local eateries to enjoy. The Liberty Grove Campground is located at the beautiful Cooper Lake and is a great place for a quiet, relaxing Texas vacation. On the west side of the lake is the Cedar Creek East Loop for excellent scenic viewing and hiking. Biking and horseback riding are also common at this park. On the other side of the campground is the lake, which is perfect for swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The campground is also perfect for picnicking, and many head out to various flat spots at dusk to enjoy sunset viewing and stargazing.
