The Raton Pass Camp and Cafe is a campground located north of Raton just off I-25 at the top of Raton Pass, New Mexico. Soak in the panoramic views of the Savage Canyon, home to gambel oak, pinion and ponderosa pine, and while you're sitting outside keep your eyes open for the wildlife that calls Raton Pass home. There are bears, mule deer, elk, wild turkeys and scores of beautiful hummingbirds. Our sites are packed level gravel with scenic large back-ins, pull thrus, extra long pull thrus, and budget friendly small back-ins that support 30/50 amp sites. Our clean manicured property will keep you coming back year after year. Ponil Campground is located in northern New Mexico at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. We feature full 30/50 amp electric hookup sites along with tent sites for those seeking something a little more different. Visitors have access to bath houses and laundry facilities. Given our convenient location, we are only a few hours drive to iconic New Mexico spots like Taos, Santa Fe, Angel Fire, Eagles Nest and Red River. Take day trips from the campground to visit casinos, do some shopping and enjoy local fine dining, while also taking in the exquisite desert vistas on your drive. In the area surrounding the campsite, you can enjoy art galleries, local foods and a grocery store for your convenience. While we don’t offer such amenities as cable TV or laundry, we hope you’ll appreciate the unique magic of MoonStream's vintage camp experience!   Area Tips MoonStream Vintage Campground is located at the base of Cottonwood Pass just 5 minutes west of Buena Vista, CO. The Arkansas River, just minutes to the east, offers some of the best whitewater in the country. Check out our friends at The Adventure Company (theadventurecompany.com) for all your river adventures. With the 4-mile Recreation Area just east of the Arkansas River and numerous other mountain-top routes to the west, we are a mountain biker's and off-roader's paradise. And in the winter time, Cottonwood Pass closes to automobiles and opens up to snowmobiles. To wind down, Cottonwood Hot Springs is just 5 minutes to the west, and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is 15 minutes to the south. Cottonwood Lake (no motors allowed), 15 minutes up the pass, has great fishing – though we’ve caught brown trout in the creek right here on the property. Numerous hiking trails - including the Continental Divide Trail and the Colorado Trail - can be accessed just minutes away up Cottonwood Pass, and there are trailheads for thirteen Fourteeners within a 45-minute drive (Mt. Princeton's 14,197' summit is under 4 hours from your campsite...if you hustle). In the winter, there are endless opportunities for backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. If you're into backcountry skiing or splitboarding, or want to try it out for the first time, get in touch with Buena Vista Mountain Adventures (bvmountainadventures.com). Upon your return to civilization, check out the bars, restaurants, and shops on Main Street or South Main in Buena Vista, or catch a showing at the Comanche Drive-In Theater just a few hundred yards up the road. We think the best food in the valley is 50 Burger down in Salida, but if you’re looking to stay a little closer, we think Buena Vista’s best meal can be found at Wesley & Rose at the Surf Hotel. And for a night out, the Deerhammer Distillery on Main Street and Eddyline Brewery across from the library are super cool spots.

This is an active a farm. The old building site has been converted to RV parking. We have seven spaces. They are large 50 x 70 spaces with plenty of room to park other vehicles. Five of them are pull through. Each space has a 30 amp RV plug and a 20 amp GFI standard plug.

Alpine Trails RV Park includes amenities such as WiFi, water, sewer, showers, electricity. This RV park is located at 111 Wharton Road in South Fork, CO. Golf, hiking, off-roading/atv, and horseback riding are some of the activities you can enjoy during your stay here. In addition to 42 full hookup RV campsites, the park has a two-bedroom cabin with a full kitchen and a stone fireplace. Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, pickleball, and four-wheeling. Located just outside of downtown Buena Vista, BV Overlook offers a variety of nightly accommodations with an amazing view of the Collegiate Peaks. Monarch Spur RV Park and Campground is located in the Heart of the Rockies, at 8,620 feet above sea level. Aspen Ridge RV Park is nestled near South Fork, Colorado, offering 10 full 30/50 amp water and sewer hookup campsites that are big rig friendly with many of them being pull through accessible. Some of our amenities include free WiFi at our clubhouse, complementary coffee,  clean restrooms and laundry facilities. In addition, no matter your fishing preference, you can clean them at our fish cleaning station. There is a lot to do in the summer and spring to keep you busy for several days (fishing, hiking, biking, ATV riding, mines to see & more). In the winter we have cabins with the comforts of home so you can enjoy winter activities like skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, etc. Our sites in South Fork Colorado are back off the highway for a more relaxing atmosphere and the view is amazing. We have a community fire pit of which we can roast hot dogs, marshmallows for s’mores and tell all the stories you would like. “What goes on at the Fire Pit stays at the Fire Pit.” Full hook-ups avail. only during the summer (electric & wifi avail. during winter).
