RIFLE MOUNTAIN PARK   Rifle Mountain Park was officially established on October 21, 1921, through a U.S. Patent signed by President Warren G. Harding. The park was created following a Special Act passed by Congress in 1910 that allowed municipalities to preserve public lands for park use.  Today, the approximately 500-acre park is recognized worldwide for its limestone rock climbing and more than 400 bolted climbing routes.
