The Raton Pass Camp and Cafe is a campground located north of Raton just off I-25 at the top of Raton Pass, New Mexico. Soak in the panoramic views of the Savage Canyon, home to gambel oak, pinion and ponderosa pine, and while you're sitting outside keep your eyes open for the wildlife that calls Raton Pass home. There are bears, mule deer, elk, wild turkeys and scores of beautiful hummingbirds. Our sites are packed level gravel with scenic large back-ins, pull thrus, extra long pull thrus, and budget friendly small back-ins that support 30/50 amp sites. Our clean manicured property will keep you coming back year after year. While we don’t offer such amenities as cable TV or laundry, we hope you’ll appreciate the unique magic of MoonStream's vintage camp experience!   Area Tips MoonStream Vintage Campground is located at the base of Cottonwood Pass just 5 minutes west of Buena Vista, CO. The Arkansas River, just minutes to the east, offers some of the best whitewater in the country. Check out our friends at The Adventure Company (theadventurecompany.com) for all your river adventures. With the 4-mile Recreation Area just east of the Arkansas River and numerous other mountain-top routes to the west, we are a mountain biker's and off-roader's paradise. And in the winter time, Cottonwood Pass closes to automobiles and opens up to snowmobiles. To wind down, Cottonwood Hot Springs is just 5 minutes to the west, and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is 15 minutes to the south. Cottonwood Lake (no motors allowed), 15 minutes up the pass, has great fishing – though we’ve caught brown trout in the creek right here on the property. Numerous hiking trails - including the Continental Divide Trail and the Colorado Trail - can be accessed just minutes away up Cottonwood Pass, and there are trailheads for thirteen Fourteeners within a 45-minute drive (Mt. Princeton's 14,197' summit is under 4 hours from your campsite...if you hustle). In the winter, there are endless opportunities for backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. If you're into backcountry skiing or splitboarding, or want to try it out for the first time, get in touch with Buena Vista Mountain Adventures (bvmountainadventures.com). Upon your return to civilization, check out the bars, restaurants, and shops on Main Street or South Main in Buena Vista, or catch a showing at the Comanche Drive-In Theater just a few hundred yards up the road. We think the best food in the valley is 50 Burger down in Salida, but if you’re looking to stay a little closer, we think Buena Vista’s best meal can be found at Wesley & Rose at the Surf Hotel. And for a night out, the Deerhammer Distillery on Main Street and Eddyline Brewery across from the library are super cool spots.

This is an active a farm. The old building site has been converted to RV parking. We have seven spaces. They are large 50 x 70 spaces with plenty of room to park other vehicles. Five of them are pull through. Each space has a 30 amp RV plug and a 20 amp GFI standard plug.

Tiny Homes, RV sites, Camper trailers, or Renovated Bus rental spaces are available with breathtaking mountain views in all directions with wide-open spaces. Off the grid (Boon Docking) which means no sewer or electric hookups, solar or generator will be needed. There may be an opportunity at the present time to have access to electricity for one and only one site.  There is water available. Tiny Home or RV living site offers a fire pit. There is a possibility of partial work trade for rent opportunity, if you have Handyman/Carpentry skills and experience, please let us know. This is a great place with biking and hiking trails nearby. Keep your RV/Camper trailer here for weekend getaways or live here full-time. This is a very beautiful mountain rural area, many of our neighbors have livestock, and we have a few potbelly pigs. It is very peaceful and the sky is full of stars without the city lights.  Located about 3 1/2 hours SW of Denver.

Located just outside of downtown Buena Vista, BV Overlook offers a variety of nightly accommodations with an amazing view of the Collegiate Peaks. We welcome you to stay with us in your RV or van, enjoy tent camping, or cozy up in one of our tiny homes or cabins.   La Veta Pines RV park, formerly Lucy’s RV park, has been a favorite spot for RV vacationers in the southern Rockies for decades. The RV park is located in La Veta Colorado within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and art galleries. We are pet friendly, and offer daily, weekly and monthly RV rates. Pleasant Valley RV Park of Howard is a pet friendly RV park located on 0018 County Road 47 in Howard, CO. The site includes WiFi, water, sewer, showers, laundry facilities. You can also do activities such as Beer/Wine Tasting, off-roading/atv, fishing, horseback riding, and white-water rafting.

Colorado Heights Camping Resort is located in the beautiful town of Monument, CO. It is nestled back in 28 acres of beautiful pine trees with an amazing view of Pikes Peak. It is 45 minutes away from Denver and 30 minutes from Colorado Springs. Colorado Heights Camping Resort has around 200 full hookup sites and 50 partial hookup sites. "We have been camping here the last 2 years. It is a great place to get away from the city and relax. They have a fun pool for the kids, a fishing pond and mini golf. Can't wait for the weather to warm so we can get back!" "This is conveniently located just north of Colorado Springs....They have a nice little fishing pond and great pool. Staff is very friendly and have free wifi." The site includes water, sewerage, and can host activities like Basketball, shuffleboard, volleyball, swimming outdoors, and fishing.

Circle the Wagons RV Park has 43 full-hook up sites. We have 14 50-amp and 29 30-amp sites and tent area. Sites are all 60'x30' and gravel. We have laundry and shower/bathroom facilities. There is free Wi-Fi and a dog park. Cable is not available in our area. The Cuchara River runs through our park which also has many shade trees.

Camping at the Sugarite Canyon is a real treat for a number of reasons. For one, the natural terrain is absolutely captivating. Enjoy the views of the cliffs and forests that are speckled with dozens of shades of green and earthy browns. That being said, get ready for some excellent hiking and biking opportunities, and if you don't see a path, go out there and make one! Hunting and horseback riding is also common, as is wildlife viewing. Keep an eye out for birds, butterflies and plenty of curious deer. At an elevation of over 6,000 feet, campers can also look forward to cool breezes, and clear skies for stargazing. 

Middlefork RV Park includes amenities such as WiFi, water, sewer, electricity. This RV park is located on 255 US Highway 285 in Fairplay, CO. Biking, and fishing are some of the activities you can enjoy during your stay here.
