While we don’t offer such amenities as cable TV or laundry, we hope you’ll appreciate the unique magic of MoonStream's vintage camp experience!   Area Tips MoonStream Vintage Campground is located at the base of Cottonwood Pass just 5 minutes west of Buena Vista, CO. The Arkansas River, just minutes to the east, offers some of the best whitewater in the country. Check out our friends at The Adventure Company (theadventurecompany.com) for all your river adventures. With the 4-mile Recreation Area just east of the Arkansas River and numerous other mountain-top routes to the west, we are a mountain biker's and off-roader's paradise. And in the winter time, Cottonwood Pass closes to automobiles and opens up to snowmobiles. To wind down, Cottonwood Hot Springs is just 5 minutes to the west, and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is 15 minutes to the south. Cottonwood Lake (no motors allowed), 15 minutes up the pass, has great fishing – though we’ve caught brown trout in the creek right here on the property. Numerous hiking trails - including the Continental Divide Trail and the Colorado Trail - can be accessed just minutes away up Cottonwood Pass, and there are trailheads for thirteen Fourteeners within a 45-minute drive (Mt. Princeton's 14,197' summit is under 4 hours from your campsite...if you hustle). In the winter, there are endless opportunities for backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. If you're into backcountry skiing or splitboarding, or want to try it out for the first time, get in touch with Buena Vista Mountain Adventures (bvmountainadventures.com). Upon your return to civilization, check out the bars, restaurants, and shops on Main Street or South Main in Buena Vista, or catch a showing at the Comanche Drive-In Theater just a few hundred yards up the road. We think the best food in the valley is 50 Burger down in Salida, but if you’re looking to stay a little closer, we think Buena Vista’s best meal can be found at Wesley & Rose at the Surf Hotel. And for a night out, the Deerhammer Distillery on Main Street and Eddyline Brewery across from the library are super cool spots.

This is an active a farm. The old building site has been converted to RV parking. We have seven spaces. They are large 50 x 70 spaces with plenty of room to park other vehicles. Five of them are pull through. Each space has a 30 amp RV plug and a 20 amp GFI standard plug.

Located just outside of downtown Buena Vista, BV Overlook offers a variety of nightly accommodations with an amazing view of the Collegiate Peaks. Summit RV Park is an RV park located on 9800 Santa Fe Trail Drive in Trinidad, CO. We have both Back-In and Pull Through Sites with full 30/50/110 amp hookups and wifi.  Our park is walking distance to very popular restaurants.   La Veta Pines RV park, formerly Lucy’s RV park, has been a favorite spot for RV vacationers in the southern Rockies for decades. Circle the Wagons RV Park has 43 full-hook up sites. We have 14 50-amp and 29 30-amp sites and tent area. Sites are all 60'x30' and gravel. We have laundry and shower/bathroom facilities. There is free Wi-Fi and a dog park. Cable is not available in our area. The Cuchara River runs through our park which also has many shade trees.

Prospect RV Park is located near the breathtaking city of Denver, Colorado and is an amazing spot for a relaxing camping trip in the midst of breathtaking mountains.    Amenities Campers can look forward to onsite activities to keep every member of the group engaged and having fun.
