We are located in Dolores Colorado on the San Juan Skyway with the scenic Dolores River running through the campground. In addition to great fly-fishing on the river, we also have an on-site fishing pond.

 The Juniper Campground is located at the Bandelier National Monument and is a popular camping spot for families and small groups of about 10 people or fewer. Nestled among juniper and pinion trees in the Gila National Forest, the Pinion Campground is a great place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy a quiet getaway. A few sites even have a view of the Quemado Lake which is gorgeous at sunrise. Keep your eyes open for elk as your explore the forest and feel free to make your own trail as you hike and bike. The Pinion Access Trail is a popular trail to hike, and know that the biking trails are open and intermediate in difficulty. Also be sure to look up at dawn to see the spectacular New Mexico sky as it explodes daily with red and oranges.

We are a great spot to call home as you visit Aztec Ruins, Mesa Verde, Chaco and the Four Corners parks. We have some award winning golf courses and one of them is 2 minutes away. The San Juan River offers world class trout fishing, and the mountains of Colorado are minutes away. You can ride out of the park on your atv with hours of riding just North of the park.

This site is popular for campers who love water sports, so if that's you, get ready for some fun! Visitors to the campground can look forward to world-class fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing and boaters. You can also swim along the tributaries of the dam, and when you're ready to head on land, there's some excellent trails for hiking and biking, but you could always make your own trail. The Sims Mesa Campground is located at the Navajo Lake State Park, New Mexico. Enjoy spectacular views of the forestry around the lake, and excellent fly fishing along the San Juan River nearby.
