Nestled in Cimarron, Colorado, Pleasant Valley Cabins & Campground features RV and tent sites situated along the north bank of the beautiful Little Cimarron River and shaded by cottonwood trees and aspens. All of the sites are spacious and have their own fire pit and picnic table. There are small portable bar-b-ques available to borrow, and some built in bar-b-ques among the sites. Sites are level gravel with grass surroundings and are back in only with 30 amp electrical service. One can also enjoy activities such as hunting, wildlife viewing, and horseback riding during your stay. Given our convenient location, visitors can enjoy nearby attractions such as Black Canyon of The Gunnison National Park, The Colorado Monument, Pine Creek, Blue Mesa Reservoir, Crested Butte and more Whether its for a short and or long term stay, we hope to see you soon!

The campground is conveniently located centrally to Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park and Monument Valley National Park. Easy access from the highway.   Vernal RV Resort is uniquely positioned on the Bonanza Hwy (Hwy 45), about 15 mins south of Vernal on the Green River, across the Hwy is Horseshoe Bend (a local favorite). This lush, desert oasis displays gorgeous sunrises, sunsets, and stars you can almost touch! This Resort offers large 30’-35’ wide by 65’-80’ length spots to accommodate all size RV’s and the toys that come with them!      Vernal RV Resort is surrounded by BLM land for recreational use and guests can launch right into the Green River from our private beach for a day on the water. The Resort will offer recreational rentals based on the season from Fishing poles, to UTVs, Kayaks, Bikes, Snowmobiles, & Sleds!      Travelers will enjoy the quiet space, fresh air, and convenient amenities located right on the property! Amenities include our in-office clubhouse market, coin op laundry (BY RESERVATION ONLY), guest restrooms, and freshly brewed coffee each morning! River Camp RV Park is located directly on a beautiful bend of the famed White River near the base of the iconic Flat Tops Wilderness near Meeker, Colorado. The park is nestled in a scenic valley, surrounded by beautiful ranches and mountains. The 13 acre property is well laid out and provides spacious sites that afford great privacy and quiet. Mature trees on the property offer great shade and the grounds are covered with a beautiful lawn. The RV park is well maintained and always clean. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area. Turkeys and deer wander through the park and the bird watching is stellar.  Please be sure to keep your speed at 10 mph or under so we can keep our wildlife and guests safe!   River Camp RV Park offers 19 well-situated RV sites, each with a level gravel pad. Each site has full hook ups, including water (with great water pressure), sewer, and 30 and 50 amp outlets. All sites will accommodate a 38' RV and Class A, B, and C Motorhomes. A majority of the sites will also accommodate a 44' RV.   River Camp RV Park also offers dry camping and can accommodate large groups. We can provide water for our campers.   Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. We supply firewood at no cost. Great WiFi is also provided. Camp hosts James and Amy are onsite at site 13 for your check-in upon arrival.  They are always available to help and they strive to keep the RV park in it's pristine condition. River Camp RV Park anticipates further improvements, including a new bath house in 2022.

It is an escape from everything as its right in the middle of nature and very easily accessible off the scenic Highway 141. This place really knows how to make camping simple in order to ensure people can focus on what truly matters – nature and good times with those you enjoy spending time with! They offer 37 RV full-serviced sites with a wide range of amenities. It is surrounded by a plethora of ATV, hiking, and riding trails as well as beautiful mountains and rivers. There are so many activities to do here that would elate anyone as not only can you hunt, there are a lot of water based activities and also some snow related activities. It’s really the perfect spot to have a nice relaxing and calming camping experience, not matter the length of time you want to take!
