The Ridge Rock Campground is located at Heron lake State Park, New mexico and is an excellent spot for a quiet getaway into the peaceful terrain of a southwestern watering hole. The lakeis a designated "quiet lake," meaning boat operators cannot get up to wake speeds. As such, enjoy canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake surface, and cross country skiing and ice fishing in the winter months. The lake is well-known for world-class fly fishing, so don't forget your rod if you'r hoping to snag some trout or salmon during your visit. The area around the park is well-known for wildlife viewing and hiking, so get ready to see some mule deer, black bear, elk and beautiful birds!

The Dolores River Campground is a beautiful, tree-filled campground that provides a true Colorado get-away. We are located in Dolores Colorado on the San Juan Skyway with the scenic Dolores River running through the campground. In addition to great fly-fishing on the river, we also have an on-site fishing pond.
