The Last Resort is a cozy RV park located on the Blanco River just off Highway 84, between Chama, New Mexico and Pagosa Springs, CO.  We have 23 full hook-up sites with 30 and 50amp electric with water and sewer.  We have 8 sites along the river with water and electricity only.  Basic tent sites are set up in various locations around the park, several being located near water.  Our bathhouse has a couch and games, a kitchen sink, microwave and coffee pot; Men's and Women's separate restrooms, $5 for an 8 minute shower, and coin operated washer and dryer.    For outdoor recreation, there are walking trails throughout the park, dog park, fishing in the pond or river, tubing the river, and playing at the beach!   The outdoor recreation area includes a volleyball net, horseshoes, cornhole, and other outdoor games.   A newly renovated pavilion next to the pond, serves as a gathering place for happy hours and group gatherings!  Open year round.  Pets welcome! While we don’t offer such amenities as cable TV or laundry, we hope you’ll appreciate the unique magic of MoonStream's vintage camp experience!   Area Tips MoonStream Vintage Campground is located at the base of Cottonwood Pass just 5 minutes west of Buena Vista, CO. The Arkansas River, just minutes to the east, offers some of the best whitewater in the country. Check out our friends at The Adventure Company (theadventurecompany.com) for all your river adventures. With the 4-mile Recreation Area just east of the Arkansas River and numerous other mountain-top routes to the west, we are a mountain biker's and off-roader's paradise. And in the winter time, Cottonwood Pass closes to automobiles and opens up to snowmobiles. To wind down, Cottonwood Hot Springs is just 5 minutes to the west, and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is 15 minutes to the south. Cottonwood Lake (no motors allowed), 15 minutes up the pass, has great fishing – though we’ve caught brown trout in the creek right here on the property. Numerous hiking trails - including the Continental Divide Trail and the Colorado Trail - can be accessed just minutes away up Cottonwood Pass, and there are trailheads for thirteen Fourteeners within a 45-minute drive (Mt. Princeton's 14,197' summit is under 4 hours from your campsite...if you hustle). In the winter, there are endless opportunities for backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. If you're into backcountry skiing or splitboarding, or want to try it out for the first time, get in touch with Buena Vista Mountain Adventures (bvmountainadventures.com). Upon your return to civilization, check out the bars, restaurants, and shops on Main Street or South Main in Buena Vista, or catch a showing at the Comanche Drive-In Theater just a few hundred yards up the road. We think the best food in the valley is 50 Burger down in Salida, but if you’re looking to stay a little closer, we think Buena Vista’s best meal can be found at Wesley & Rose at the Surf Hotel. And for a night out, the Deerhammer Distillery on Main Street and Eddyline Brewery across from the library are super cool spots.

Tiny Homes, RV sites, Camper trailers, or Renovated Bus rental spaces are available with breathtaking mountain views in all directions with wide-open spaces. Off the grid (Boon Docking) which means no sewer or electric hookups, solar or generator will be needed. There may be an opportunity at the present time to have access to electricity for one and only one site.  There is water available. Tiny Home or RV living site offers a fire pit. There is a possibility of partial work trade for rent opportunity, if you have Handyman/Carpentry skills and experience, please let us know. This is a great place with biking and hiking trails nearby. Keep your RV/Camper trailer here for weekend getaways or live here full-time. This is a very beautiful mountain rural area, many of our neighbors have livestock, and we have a few potbelly pigs. It is very peaceful and the sky is full of stars without the city lights.  Located about 3 1/2 hours SW of Denver.

The Echo Basin Cabin and RV Resort is located in the beautiful and quaint town of Mancos, Colorado and is a great spot for an easy-going camping trip. Campers can look forward to plenty of wide open space for exploring, outdoor swimming, scenic viewing and clear skies for sunset viewing and stargazing. Just beyond the campground are a number of activities and attractions to enjoy including: horseback riding, Artisans of Mancos art gallery, Dave Sipe's Folk Art, Kilgore American Indian Art and the Painted Turtle Studio. In addition to 42 full hookup RV campsites, the park has a two-bedroom cabin with a full kitchen and a stone fireplace. Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, pickleball, and four-wheeling.
