The Ponderosa Campground is located just 6 miles from the Bandelier National Monument and the town of Los Alamos. Look out for wildlife such as black bears, mule deer, mountain lions and squirrels as well as birds like canyon towhees and Stellar's jays. One hiking trail extends from the campsite, however, there are other trails just outside the site and excellent rock climbing opportunities at the Bandelier Monument. Campers also venture into town to pick up supplies at the various stores, go ice skating or even visit one of the museums. 

Indian Springs Ranch & Campground is a park located near Penrose, Colorado. It features full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Many of them are pull through accessible. The park provides free WiFi, allows pets, and has a dump station.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include an outdoor pavilion, horseshoe pits, picnic tables, fire circles, and grills.
